Pros: Two-finger frame, uses many Tippmann parts
Cons: A bit plain out of box
I am absolutely convinced that BT's Egrip is far better than Tippmann's. Independent of anything else, the grip is comfortable to use on a long day's play, and unlike the A-5 egrip, you can change the battery simply by opening the panel.

Performance-wise, the ERC could probably be used as a speedball gun if you were daring enough, and I haven't seen any issues with chopping or any o-ring problems. From a customization point of view, the ERC accepts 98 stocks and internals, A-5 threaded barrels, and has enough rails to make any accessory nut happy.

Bottom line, better efficiency and value than an A-5. I spend a bit more on batteries, but I would rather have more shots per tank than batteries (then again I'm primarily a speedballer).

Worth every penny if you're searching for a good dual purpose gun, or something to help thin out the opponent's numbers in quick order.
