Made using many of the same parts as the Halo, the Empire Reloader series uses sound instead of eyes to sense when to spin the paddle. This eliminates the need for eyes in the loader altogether.

Pros: Fast, sound activated
Cons: Brittle shells, heavy, tool intensive
The Reloader B was my first "fast" hopper. I picked it up new at a local pro shop, and put it to work on my A4 Fly. I had no functional problems with the Reloader B through my time owning it, but there were a few things worth mentioning. To modern standards, the Reloader B is very heavy. Sizing is about the same as a Prophecy, but capacity is 180 balls due to large internals. Some of the shells, the pearl colored shells in particular, proved to be brittle, and over time will literally crumble. That problem pushed me to put my Reloader B internals into a set of Warrior shells later. Finally, the whole system is held together with many screws. Lose one, and you might not have enough contact points to hold it together.

One final note - the Reloader B came with three speed settings. One was fast, two was faster, and three was fastest. That also applied to pressure on the stack. I'd loaned mine out to a teammate once who had broken a lot of paint in his at an event. I watched him mount my "B" to his gun, turn it on, set it to "3", and promptly blend a pod's worth of paint. Setting three comes with a lot of pressure!

I’ve owned several of these hoppers throughout the years and every time I get one I can’t wait to get rid of it. I’ve never been a fan of the audio feed hoppers as they have been inconsistent and constantly fail on me. I am not sure what it is, but I have not had much luck with these.

The weak side of these hoppers are the brittle plastic shells and disassembling the hoppers altogether. The 6 AA battery pack also adds a lot of weight so I’ve always used a 9Volt mod adapters and ran two 9V batteries. They also don’t come stock with a rip drive but you can purchase a kit to install one, why bother though, I’d just get a Halo and be done with it.

This is an excellent entry to tournament level ball hopper. It is a fraction of the rotor's cost, and at the end of the day it will get the job done. That being said, it does not compare very nicely to the new high end hoppers such as the rotor and the prophecy out on the market today.

Cons: None really
I have used my Reloader B in rain and shine. Honestly I wouldn't recommend amy other loader. It's easy to use, easy to upgrade and reliable...What more could you ask for. The one and only time I ever had a problem with it was when it ran out of battery power. And that was my fault...the battery was like 3 months old and I play every weekend. If you don't have one, get one.

Empire Reloader B Works well on most markers but in some cases like on a karnivor I had the loader would go crazy and blend paint from the noise of the gun shooting and the back block slapping back to the gun.
