I have never had any luck with Premium...and it seems that everyone in my area hates the stuff. It shoots OK when the weather is very nice and warm. But as soon as the temperature drops below like 65 degrees, or if it rains, this paint shoots terribly. Everyone that I have seen shoot this stuff ends up turning it into soup in their gun.
Very thick fill- The fill on RPS Premium is very thick. Not as thick as Evil, but very comparable. It is VERY hard to wipe. When I was cleaning hits off myself after the game, the paint stained my hand for a few days.
Bright fill- The fill is very bright so it is easy for refs to see.
Brittleness- This paint is not as brittle as Evil, but in my opinion it is brittle enough to be considered tournament paint.
Cons:
I honestly can't think of any weakness for this paint. When I used it, it worked great.
Conclusion:
Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this paint. We just got done using this paint at a tournament, and it was INCREDIBLE. Had a very thick, bright, visible fill that was impossible to wipe.
i practice my shooting in the woods and i use green and they blend in well and they are just great paintballs, if RPS Premiums are at your local paintball store, get them
used at a tournament thinking this was better than diablo 13...
i used a .693 bore and still had chopping problems
people using .695 bores were also having a tough time..and the weather was fairly decent.
thick fill though. just a big bore like most of RPS's paint
Fantastic paint, except for me it's not worth $60, or $80 (at my field). But if I was playing in a tourney I would definately us these. I like them much better than RPS Polar Ice also.
I have used Premium for a long time, and it shoots like a champ! it breaks on target, and not in gun. It works beautifully in the summer and in the winter. Very accurate with a little overboaring. It's cheap! Great paint especially for $40.
This paint is the best I've used for this price range anything better has to be Marbilizer or Evil.
For $40 a case (discounted) you cannot beat it.
Shells break consistently on the fragile paint test (drop from 6 feet)
Paint is nice and thick marks well and doesn't soak into clothes
Doesn't break in hopper or gun (spool valve)
All very consistent sized shells and fills.
Get it in HOT PINK FILL it's the best not watery at all.
