Picked this up from a friend. Test shot it, and noticed kick. Thought it needed some lube. Took it home, and it was some nasty lube in there, so cleaned it all out, relubed it, and it was ever so smooth. It's shooting very consistently +-5. Efficiency could be better, but with all day air not as big of a deal. I'm getting about 5 pods and a hopper out of a 68/4500. Mind you I haven't taken the time to tune the LPR. Overall I am very impressed with this marker. It shoots very well, and have had only one issue that was pretty much my own fault. Eyes weren't reading, but I never put a fresh battery in. Once I did no issue. Great shooting Gun.

the ribbon eyes can be a pain, but as stated before, if taken care of properly, they do a good job. it's not the most efficient gun, but it's definitely not bad efficiency wise.
the milling is amazing. i have a dust black and it's gorgeous. want a pm7? get an 07 minion it's lighter and better looking.

Appearance - This is a pretty handsome marker. The aftermarket milling really takes the look of this marker up a notch. While weight reduction wasn't really the desired outcome, the lines of the new milling really make it look sharp. And it was already very light to begin with, so grow a pair if you still think its heavy.
Performance - PM7 = sex. So, by default, 07 Minion = sex. Fast, accurate, a great all around marker. With the plethora of (IMHO, unnecessary) aftermarket parts and upgrades for this platform, you can really turn this thing into a machine gun.
Reliability - Again, since pm7 = sex, so does the minion. See, the thing about spoolies is, some people cant seem to wrap their heads around the fact that anytime you invest over, lets say, 200 dollars in something, it requires some upkeep. With regular maintenance, this gun will be a great main gat for years to come. If you want something that you can use, then throw in a bag and forget about untill next weekend, then buy a tippmann. Its not complicated, just take out the bolt kit and re-lube. That's it. Not to hard. Sigh, the youth these days...
Value - Ok, here is the main ( again, IMHO) perk of this marker. As you may or may not know, the good people at evil have been reconfigured in the new KEE action sports family. That is, they got be big ugly axe. Ok, a bit dramatic, but basically true. Evil is no more. Sad day, yada yada, get over it. One good thing came of this...the 07 minion had a big price drop. I got mine for $265 NIB off of ebay. I would pay like 400ish for a marker like tis if I had too. for 265? pshhh, no hesitation. awesome price.
Good news and bad news for ya - bad news first. I had a problem with my minion right out of the box. Yea, it sucks, but it happends.
Good news - even though evil is KIA, Kee still honors all warranty work for the evil ine of products! Hooraay! So I got my minion fixed at no cost to me, except shipping to kee! They took care of everything else!
All in all, this is a great marker for a great price. Anyone who really wants a pm7 is retarded if they dont buy an 07 minion instead. Same gun, but sexier.

It is a really awesome gun. I have only broken 1 ball in it and that was cause it was an old ball and about twice the size it should have been.
When I got it, I had a leak in the handle but I took off the noid and lubed it up and the leak went away.
Also, the damn wires broke off of the battery harness as soon as I took the battery off. I had to buy an extra one, but I fixed my old one also. This gun is super fast and I have had no problems other than the wires breaking.

As with most matrixes, this gun isn't the most efficient. That doesn't mean that its exactly a gas hog. With a 68/4500 tank, it'll last at least 3-4 games before you need a refill. It shoots lasers of paint and its extremely accurate. Its more gentle on paintballs than ego's (thats why the ego is more efficient, cuz its rougher on a paintball) You can easily do a top hat mod to fix that. The milling is better than a PM7

CONS i was lubeing my gun before i went to the field and i saw the one oring was little beat up so i didnt pay attichion to it and i practis with my team for a few games and then i went to chrono my gun and it was leaking butt i turned out that the oring was the problem in my 7mounth of owning that gun
all had to do was sqeege and lube and an nother con was i the stock barrel looks goofy only 2 thing on the gun a comen sence other than those two thing this gun is amzing evey thing on this gun is stock butt the barrel

ok a freind of mine just got one of these and recently gave it to me to tech it for him and i must say after dialing it in it shoots ropes and there is like no kick what so ever. the milling is so nice it is basically a pm7 but still it loks great i would recomend getting a ul frame and ul barrol for it right from the git go.

Its shoots smooth (just like all Matrices), very low kick, its quiet, and it will rip.
I am a big fan of UL barrels but I've found the stock barrel to be surprisingly accurate and quiet so I didn't find a need to change out the barrel.
I have swapped the stock bolt in mine for an Orange bolt that I had in my PM5 to gain greater efficiency on air and to reduce the kick to practically none. Like all spool valves, you won't be able to shoot an entire case of paint off of a 68/4500 fill, like an Ego or Timmy, however, you can shoot more than enough to shoot several pods and a hopper.
The appearance of the gun is pretty awesome as well. I own a 1 of 25 red to black fade Minion and it looks amazing on the gun. I've never been a big fan of the milling on the PM's but the extra step the Minions have been milled makes the gun stand out.
The only complaint that I have found with the gun is the stock trigger frame. The pivot pin placement for the trigger was moved father back on the frame from the PM5/6 frame causing the trigger to have a different pull angle and feeling stiffer. I have compared the frames of the 06 Minion next to the 07 Minion and the 06 definitely feels more comfortable to me. But like all PM's (except the 08, it comes with one) you can put an ultralite frame on it if you wish.
