Well, i bought my mini pretty cheap which was a big plus. The only problem i had with it over the 3 months that i owned it was it kept having a bunch of minor glitches (microswitchs breaking, random leaks etc). However i did buy it used so the condition was unknown, it was also a first generation so all the glitches werent worked out. I did however think it was a great mid end gun. out of the box you add a better barrel and your ready to go play some tournie ball, light, tight, fast, efficient, what more could you ask for from such a cheap gun?

For $400, you won't find a better gun in my mind.
First off, Kee's support Paintball Solutions is top notch and is ready to handle any questions or problems with your gun should you have them.
Secondly, the gun is all metal, which some guns under $400 are a hybrid of metal and plastic. Whether or not this is important to you is a matter of opinion, but I prefer all metal construction. The firing speed is plenty for legal play, a board will only make you shoot faster illegally or show off how much paint you can waste in front of your friends. The balance of the gun is a little bit more picky than other guns because it is so light compared to other markers in it's price and performace range. In my opinion, the best balance is a high performance hopper (Vlocity, Halo, Torque, ect...) and a 45 cubic inch stubby Nitrogen tank. (Note: These guns, like most high perfomance guns do not like Co2, nor will it run very long on it. Use Nitro tanks only!!!)
In my hands, the gun is fast enough to keep other electro's in check, and versitle enough that I can move fast and compact in the front, and lay down all the mess I want in the back. The compactness of the gun is really what it's designed for, and even though I am a back guy, I still need to play front every once in a blue moon, and the ability to keep a small profile is important for a big guy like me In the back, a good aim and a steady stream of paint is needed to keep your front guys out of trouble, and this marker shoots straight as an arrow, and fast enough (legally of course; don't ever go over limits set by the field) that people will be thinking about how to work around your paint rope
Also, since I am a bigger guy (215 lbs, but weight doesn't go to your hands ) my hands do feel a bit cramped the first time I play for a little bit. This is coming from someone who's main gun was an Autococker for 5 years, and a Spyder and Automag for a year. However, the cramping is not cramping; it's just because the gun is made to be held closer because it is smaller than (lets say) my Autococker. Both of my fingers fit fine inside the trigger guard, even with full finger length gloves on. Be aware that you may have trouble on the field with gloves on turning the marker on and off. Take the gloves off, and you should be ok.
When you get your Mini new (at least mine), it comes with a hardshell case, dogtags, spare parts/maintence kit, barrel, and keys for the case. The barrel plug is better than nothing, but a barrel cover (aka: barrel condom) is required at most fields and is a better device than a plug anyways.
Maintence is simple. One screw on the back, and everything comes out for re-lubing. The rest of the gun can be taken apart in 15 minutes for someone that's never done it before, or 5 minutes, if you are like me.
Overall, this gun is probably the last one I will buy for functional uses. It's fast and accurate enough that I'll never worry about firepower, and anything else I get is because I like shooting other markers from time to time. I see no reason to spend $1000 on a marker when this one shoots all legal speeds for almost $600 less!
Remember: First things first:
1: MOST IMPORTANT - Barrel cover (because plugs suck )
2: Get a Nitro tank (if you do not have one all ready, remember; Co2 = bad in these guns )
3: Match paint with barrel (an aftermarket barrel may be required)
4: Fast hopper. You can use a gravity feed hopper if you like, but I'll laugh at you and you will not get to experience the gun's intended performance.

I got this gun when it first came out, actually was one of the first to preorder. My upgrades included NDz Tri Flo delrin bolt, Stinger paintball design grips, 14'' stiffi, and sp inline on off. I was incredibly impressed with this gun, for such a low price.
Pros:
- Extremely light
- Can shoot incredibly fast
- Little kick
- With new grips, the feel is AMAZING
- Deadly accurate with stiffi
Cons:
- Stock grips make shooting uncomfortable
- Stock bolt is not that efficient (mine wasn't consistent either)
Overall, A+ for the price

Empire MiniI have loved the mini since I bought it. Overal, it is the best marker I have ever had. I only had one problem with the trigger magnet, which was an easy fix.

The mini is a great gun for people who are into tournament play and need a quality marker that will not fail them. Being one of the lightest markers out, it is easy to hold and shoot. The marker itself performs amazing, nearly on the level of other $900-1100 markers.
I would recommend it to all.

great packaging, nice efficency, very light, small
Cons:
trigger needs some ajusting, no on/off asa
when i first got the gun i was shocked that invert had such good packaging. You take off the lid and there is a piece of foam protecting the gun, take it off and there is the gun. Under that there is the barrel, the tool kit and the barrel plug. When i saw that i was incredibly suprised that invert put a barrel plug in there. WERE NOT GOING BACK TO BARREL PLUGS ANYMORE!!!. ok enough with the packaging more with the gun. A couple days after i got the gun i had an asa problem, it was loose. it was pretty easy to fix. all i had to do was take off the grips and tighten up a screw. so that was pretty easy. but the thing i was trying to tell you is that if something is wrong with it it is incredibly easy to fix! another great thing is the clamping feedneck witch is good for any person with an automatic hopper. One of the bad things is a no on/off asa witch gets on peoples nerves. The gun is great for airball( because of its small profile) The gun is also good for woodsball(because of its lightness)That is about all i can say about the mini and PLEASE RATE!

I had a Mini for about 4 months, and I was quite impressed with what this little marker had to offer. At first I thought it might be too small, but after playing with it I actually like the way it felt. The Mini is a unique marker and some of the highlights are:
Size/Weight- The Mini is definately one of the smallest/lightest markers out right now, and Invert did a good job of making it small but not too small for comfort. Also Invert did away with the external macro line by running the air through the gripframe, which creates more room for your hand to grip.
Performance- The marker shot fine and I had no problems with chopping or eye malfunction. I used the stock barrel and it was decent for a stock barrel, but it shot much better with an aftermarket barrel with a smaller bore size.
Maintenance- The Mini requires very little maintenance, just a quick lube of the bolt guide after playing.
Overall I think the Mini is good for someone looking for a mid to high end marker that is small, light, and reliable.
I give it 7.5/10

I believe the Invert Mini can compete with guns such as Matrix's, PM's, and Eteks right out of the box. Although there are not many upgrades available for it yet, you wouldn't need almost any of them (new barel possibly) anyway. It starts out at a great price, specially if you buy it on the Nation or other sites used; along with the fact you don't have to pump money into it like some other guns (*cough* ion *cough*). Very good value.
