Pros: small, smooth, simple, yet effecient
Cons: blocky, bad trigger, bad asa, heavy
The Invert Mini is a very good shooting gun. It out classes any gun at or lower than its price. It's small which makes it good for speed ball. It's very durable. I've never seen a broken mini at anytime except for ASA problems. The ASA is probably one of the worst ASAs they can put on a paintball gun. The only upgrade i would buy for this gun is the Empire Relay On/Off ASA. It's $80 i believe, but it is worth it. The trigger on the Mini isn't the best, but it's better than some of the guns in its price range. The clamping feedneck is good, the bolt system is very good. It's a spool valve gun, not a poppet, so it's not going to feel anything like an ego, victory, or intimidator when you shoot it. You will never have any leak in this gun. The only problems you'll ever have have to either do with the board or the ASA. If it's shooting weird, reset your board to factory settings, and before you ever use this gun for the first time, put bicycle chain lube (tri flow), on the ASA threads and then screw your tank in. This should fix hard tank screwing problems. The Mini is a different shape then most guns; it's very blocky, and back-heavy. If you have a steel or aluminum tank on this, it will be a pain the whole time. You'll have to actually try to keep you're barrel down. Very bad design, but it's a six year old gun right now, so we can give it some slack. The price has been the same for 6 years, if not, more now then then. The Mini is falling behind, and in the next 2 or 3 years, it'll be out dated, so get one now why they are still worth your while. As i said, a very good shooting gun. But, i would recommend to hold this gun with a tank on before you buy one, because it is back heavy.

Price paid: $309.00
Pros: lightweight, reliable, fast, accurate
Cons: lightweight, small, not so great ergos, trigger
This gun never failed me while I used it. The barrel it came with wasn't terrible, it was accurate and consistent. No problems with leaking or anything, and the whole bolt assembly is easily maintained. My biggest irk with this gun is its ergonomics and size. I have pretty big hands, and running and shooting accurately with this thing is a real challenge, as its ergonomics aren't great either. The ASA is a pain, it can get really hard to take your tank on and off since its not an on/off asa. The trigger is another gripe, I just could not rip on it, and I didn't like the optical switch, as the whole trigger just felt flimsy. Also, this gun being so light, it can become very unbalanced with a steel tank(as most guns would I imagine) and hopper full of paint. It does look super sexy though with gloss olive and swapped blue parts, and feels very solid and like a quality piece of gear in your hand. Jumped up to a used g6r and the ergos fit me very well.

Pros: Price/Performance
Cons: Reliability
I have been using my Dust Silver Mini for nearly 5 years. Most of that time it has been a backup gun, but was my primary for the first 2 years. I originally had 2 Minis to start with. One was amazing from the box, the other had masssive blowback issues... which after much experimentation (and very little help from either the dealer or Kee) and replacement of poppets, orings, etc. found that the faulty component was the main board, which once replaced fixed the problem.

In that time I added a few items to improve its performance:
- Empire barrel kit (essential!)
- Tado board (more options)
- CP roller sing trigger (smooth)
- New Designz On/Off (save the ASA threads)
- New Designz bolt (essential to reduce kick and improve shot consistency)

The gun shoots nearly as well as my DM10 (my primary), not as quiet but every bit as accurate with only slightly more kick!

My big issues are with the gun just stopping... it has now gone through 2 (on the 3rd) eye logic boards. I find that these are susceptable to corrosion and become flakey after about a year of hard use. Also found that the Virtue eye logic board does not work well with the Tado board. About to put a Virtue board in.

In all, this gun represents (and still represents - in 2012) a very good value and can be competitive at any level of play.

i bought my mini back in january and i love it. the only problem i have had with it is after about 8-10 cases of paint through it the solenoid starts to die. when i power it up and start to shoot it takes about 4-5 trigger pulls before it actually starts shooting paint. but other than that i have had no problems with it and it has worked extremely well for me

Pros: Light, Fast, Easy to Repair
Cons: Fire modes, feed neck lock, no on off asa
I bought this marker on craigslist a few months back and used it for the first time last weekend. I was a little hesitant about the reliability at first because it was leaking when i connected the tank. After reading for a few minutes on the internet and a quick email to kee i was able to repair the leak. I bought this gun for the full auto, but unfortunatley you cannot change the fire rate without taking the door off.

The feed neck should have a thumb screw, and there should be an on off asa.

Field stripping was awesome. I was chopping a bunch of balls (bad paint) and was able to take the bolt out and clean it with one screw.....good luck doing that on a tippmann... which was awesome.

I would recommend a mini to anyone. i know there is alot of bashing on the trigger slop, but once your out playing you dont even notice it.

Pros: Fast, simple, reliable
Cons: can't service the reg,
Bought the marker used. Took it out for the first time and discovered what I've been missing this whole time. In a completely different class than a marker like an ion which was in the same neighborhood as far as price, at one time.

The Good
- It's fast. Stock.
- It's light, and well balanced with a hopper and tank.
- It's simple. One screw to remove, screw out the back cap, and out comes my internals. 3 minutes later, it's lubed up and ready to go again.
- It's reliable. No hoses to pop, leak, pinch, cut etc. Could probably service it a third as often as I do and it would perform just the same.
- The board is very easy to use, really no need for an OLED unless you can't count.
- No shootdown while doing rope tricks

The Bad
- Cant service the reg as an end user...so if it fails, 80 bucks will get you a new on/off version.
- Ramping is a little twitchy, seems to go spaz on me even when the ramping point is set at its highest.

Overall
Overall, the Mini is a great marker. I would not by any means consider it a low-end, even though the price tag says otherwise. As with any marker treat it well and it will treat you well.
