this is very easy to upgrade and really easy to take care of. If anything goes wrong KEE is great and will fix it up in no time. Upgrades are pretty cheap and do a major difference in the gun.

Ive had this gun for just a few months and it is not too shabby. I decided to buy it because I had some extra money and wanted to get back into paintball because I used to play all the time when I was in high school. I checked out the mini because I liked what it had to offer. It was a tiny gun with no macroline that shoots pretty fast. After reading some reviews I decided that you will either love it or hate it, so I tested my luck and went for it.

Tuning gun... the good and the bad
When I first got the marker the first thing I wanted to do was know it inside and out, so I took it apart and put it back together. It was extremely easy to do so... much more than some of my older guns. Even when I had trouble... Invert had very nice videos to guide me in the right direction. I shot a few tanks through it to break it in and decided to upgrade the board, trigger, and bolt. I bought all three and ran a few more tanks through it. I was surprised at how soft it was shooting air. I then decided to tune it properly... this is where it gets rough. Even following a proper tuning guide kinda seemed strange to me because it seemed like you were only able to tune to be easy on paint or to be more efficient with air. I decided to go with easy on paint because who really cares about getting a few more shots off on a tank. After messing with the dwell and everything it was not shooting nearly as good as when I had the stock settings on. The balls were dropping, then they would be too fast, then I messed with the closing dwell and screwed up the tuning even more. Moral of the story is unless you really love the mini and know everything about it and how it works... dont change the stock settings unless you want to lower the pressure a little bit from 200psi. Its just not worth it. So I finally got the stock settings back and it was shooting fine. I took the gun out one night to play with the trigger pull and there was no clicking of the solenoid. I have heard that this can be a problem with the mini so I ran some air through it... fixed the problem. Took the air off and no clicks. It was pissing me of so I put the air back on and... air leak. It frustrated me so I sent in in to KEE... who are very good at customer service and fixing the gun fast. They sent it back... it was good to go.

Playing with gun... the good and the bad
I noticed right off the bat that people liked the gun on the field... well at least the little kids. It shot quiet and looked nice. That doesn't really mean much when you are trying to play though. During play I did not like the responsiveness of the gun. The magnetic trigger pull made it very difficult to walk the trigger when running. I mean it is cool when you are hanging around the garage and you can sit there and flick the trigger back and forth at 15bps, but that means nothing in a game. I would constantly find myself in 1 on 1 shootouts and find myself firing very inconsistently because of how the trigger fired the paintballs. I have heard that the firing for the mini is like this because there is no microswitch in the trigger pull. Another problem with the gun during play is it is very uncomfortable. I mean it is mini, but you cannot really hold the front grip very well. After the day was over I took the gun home to clean it and it cleaned up very well. No problems taking it apart or anything, so this was a plus.

Overall I think the gun is OK

Pros
light
fast
cool looking
easy to take apart and put together
easy to clean
comes with good customer service
quiet
new concept ( electronics in grip )
small

Cons
unreliable/can break easily
difficult to tune for amateur
hard to play with
poor trigger system

In my opinion do not get this gun if you are not willing to put the time into it. It can be very "touchy" with what you do to it. Maybe not all of them are like this, but I got my new in 09 so I did not expect to have these problems. Also If you are an avid paintballer I would suggest spending a little more money on a gun that will be much easier to work with and more reliable, but the Mini is not a bad gun by any means.

if you are looking to fill that empty hole in your paintball heart then look no further! The mini will defenatly impress you. It is very light, small, fast and just everything you want to see in a gun. the only reason i gave it 4 stars in reliability is because the first time i tried it out of the box it had a leak, i tried the recomended steps, still a leak. im going to go get it fixed and it should work fine without the leak. but overall great gun, great price, pick one up if you can, you wont be disapointed!

i like my black mini becasue some say its better than a ego do you believe that. Also i like it because its fast at 20 bps i can kill alot. Its light so i can hold it up in one hand and do something else with the other (no homo). its cheap for a gun thats this good you should get one.

At first when i took of the gripz and battery first the battery was hard to put in cuz the wire and second the gripz are hard to put back in for some reason but it is great

I was able to pick it up and start shooting with minimal problems. The only thing I noticed was that some of the regulator screws were loose, but was an easy fix and havent had any problems since.

i got mine in July of 07, played with it about 9 times first thing that struck me was how light and small it was, 2nd thing was that for a stock marker it shot pretty well, but after my 5th day of play i was having issues with the trigger sensor and sent it in to kee actions sport for repair, it came back better then when i got it played with it twice after that and now i can't get it to work at all, it has a 1.1sensor board, I've heard better things about Mini's with the 1.2sensor board
