Achieve extreme accuracy with these custom made solid brass barrels. Brass provides the least friction against gelatin and the best opportunity to get it shaped and finished properly.

Pros: accurate and balances out the tank
Cons: pricy
Excellent barrel. I couldn't ask for any more. It did its job and did it over and over. When I ordered the barrel it took 7 days to get to my house and considering I live 2000 miles away from CA that is really good for a custom made barrel. I have worked with metals and that is part of what drew me to this barrel. I knew that the brass greatly decreases the friction so I got it. after making no changes but just adding the barrel i had to turn my velocity down. I was shooting at 292 before the change and 327 after. I got the black matte with single porting so it was pretty plain looking but the performance more than makes up. first time I used it we had a 15mph wind from the west and no matter which way i was facing i could hit my target. I did a little target shooting with this wind as well. 10 shots at each of 3 distances.

60 ft.- Ball on Ball
80 ft.- Mask size grouping
125 ft.- 8 inch. radius grouping

in otherwords within 125 ft. i could get a hit where i wanted it. I will be testing farther at a later date.

This thing should be illegal it's so accurate! Put it on any gun and you will shoot darts, ball on ball accuracy. I have an 12" non-vented autococker threaded brass barrel that I use on nearly every gun I own. It is really all you need. No need for a barrel kit, just get this and your set!

I am pretty happy with the barrel although, it was a bit pricey with the dual venting and 14" barrel. It shoots straight, but not ball on ball-lol

I did however send my A5 in to get the cyclone fixed and he cut my lightening rod spring to "make it work better". That was the worst mistake ever, now it makes a small puddle of paint in the cyclone with competition balls. I took it to my friend who is also a mechanic and the problem was that vortex mod was not tight fitting and needed to be replaced from internal wear. Also, Mr Palmer epoxied my barrel sleeve in, so now i can't put on the flatline, when I specifically told his agent NO, when asked about this option to "epoxy the sleeve" when fitting the barrel to the gun. I called them back and they always forget what is going on with your gun and then say they will only cover the shipping back if it is "warranty"-too much hassle. I am in the process of challenging it with VISA- wish me luck. In the meantime, don't buy anything from Palmer's Pursuit shop! And definetly don't send your Tippman in to get it fixed, because they don't know what they are doing, and they aren't trustworthy.

So far, I have owned two brass barrels. One on my A-5 way back in the day, and another that came stock on my Blazer. Both barrels performed similarly. Palmer advertises that their unique, elliptical honing helps accuracy, and that brass has the lowest coefficient of friction with paint. Whether or not these claims are true, the barrel always shot pretty accurately for me. My only complaint is that if any water gets inside of it, or if you break paint, things go downhill very fast. It's nothing like the JJ ceramic which claims the ability to shoot through a breakage. You will have to swab your barrel good if you get paint in it. Otherwise, it's great though. I also love having the barrel stay its virgin brass color. Something about it just makes me happy...
