Cons: Foam isn't easily available.
Been using the Flex 7s for quite some time now. I like that you can breathe and communicate easily in them as well as the fact that they are customizable to your liking. Parts for these masks are readily available at most PB shops too. It's a shame that replacing just the foam on the frames means trying to source the foam (hard enough as it is) and gluing it onto the frames.

Pros: Looks, comfortable
Cons: Stupid chin strap, harder material.
I ended up buying a JT Flex 7 at my local field after finding out they didn't have any Profilier/Morph/Shield thermal lenses in stock.

My first impression on the Flex 7 was that it had vents EVERYWHERE. My second impression was that the visor needed to go....so it did . After doing all of my OCD customization I threw it on and tried it out. I was impressed.

The flex 7 performed miraculously. The field view with this mask is impressive. The foam is soft as hell and is very comfortable. It has a nice fit to your face. I wear glasses, and the mask design did not interfere with that at all. I was able to wear my glasses comfortably, and without issue. Due to a really decent thermal lense, and ventilation all over the damn thing, the Flex 7 never fogged up at all.

My only gripe with the mask is that it isn't really "FLEXIBLE." Its a more solid compound, and unlike my Morph, is solid plastic/composite all the way around. This mask isn't like the Proflex or anything with a softer bottom half. Its not a real performance issue, but you're less likely to get bounces. No big deal really. One of my OCD issues with the mask is that it comes with chin straps. Its no big deal to cut them off, but its an extra step I had to take before I'd play with it.

All in all, the Flex 7 is a great mask. Its big enough for people who wear glasses, and has plenty of vents so playing in extremely hot/humid/rainy weather will NOT be a problem. All around great mask

I've had this mask ever since I started getting seriously into the sport back in 06. Has never failed me and I've owned various different pairs from rarity and appearance to whatever other customization you can think of. My current set up is a black frame, white HB bottoms, UK strap, white soft ears, and clear lens. It's really a terrific mask.

This mask is in my opinion the best mask on the market. It has been around for a long time and it is known why. This mask breathes excellent, is comfortable, has many options available for customization.. need I go on? The only downfall to this mask is the lense can be a bit of a pain to change and some people do not like the soft ears. This mask can be modified very easily in many different ways. I would definetly recommend this mask to any player new or seasoned.

Pros: Light, comfortable, endless customizable.
Cons: Lense changing
The standard by which all other masks are judged. An iconic design that gets the job done with minimal frills and just performance. Light and comfortable, if you're wearing them right you forget they are on. Still relatively inexpensive, basic used ones can be had for $50 or less, and a tremendous value. Backwards compatible 15 years plus.

The primary con of the flex 7 is changing the spectra lens, which takes practice to do quickly. The hardness of the spectra frame material makes a big difference. The easiest to change are some of the post Huntington Beach style frames that have rather soft plastic.

JT Paintball Flex 7 by far one of the most comfortable masks. i tried them on from a teammate and you can breath and hear so easy in them. only gripe is the mouth and ear protection as they are...well seemingly lacking.

Pros: Comfort/Sight
Cons: Mouth protection/Hard ears
I bought a used flex off a friend at a good price. They feel very comfy on my face and I like them but the hard ears are a bit of a problem. They bother my ears while I'm wearing them, I reccomend an upgrade to soft ears (about $10 in the NIB forum). The mouth guard is a double edged sword. It gives you bounces, but it also gives you welts. I personally would rather take a welt and keep playing but the occasional rec baller may not care that much to walk around with a welt on their chin for 2 weeks. To each his own, but I think it was a pretty cool innovation for mask grills. The lense is plenty big enough for good vision along the field, and the foam doesn't scratch your face or aggrevate your skin. The flex is a good mask
