If your looking for an all around great mask at a great price, the Flex 7 is your choice.
If your looking for that pro style feel, and weight/profile, go with the Proflex.

Ah, my FIRST paintball mask. I had the original clear/black Flex 7 thermal package, which quickly turned yellowish and black.

I ended up with multiple versions of the Flex 7 over the years, red frame, black mask, teal frame, teal mask, etc.

One of the strengths of the Flex system is that it's so customizable. You can change out almost every piece, and each piece is available in every shade under the sun and a lot of patterns (including camoflauge for you woods guys).

It's very comfortable, you can get hard OR softears, and lenses are available in every shade or color you can think of as well.

Cons:
Dated style. Face it, it's been how many years since a major revamp? The lenses are a huge PITA to replace.
Some parts can be hard to find. The field of view isn't as good as more modern masks.

Would I recommend the Flex 7? Yes, to a newer player, or one who wants to feel the nostalgia.

JT Paintball Flex 7 These are the best goggles around without a doubt. The looks are second to none and the color combinations you can create make them awesome as well.

Pros: Light, comfortable
Cons: Changing lenses is a pain, wide profile
I bought my flex 7 probably 5 years ago. I still like and use the mask, although not as my main mask anymore.

Pros:
Very comfortable - This is personal preference, but I really like the way flex 7's fit my face. I spend a lot of time reffing and can wear them for long periods of time without my mask bugging me.

Lenses - I have never had a JT Thermal lense fog up. I have played in all kinds of rain and heat and humidity, but it has never fogged.

Breathable - This may fall under comfort, but the mask is very open and does not restrict my breathing while I'm wearing it.

Cons:
Maintenance - Even after owning the mask for years, the lenses are still a pain to take out and put back in. I have never had it go smoothly.

Profile - The reason I switched from the Flex 7 is they have too wide of a profile for my taste. It seems like the mask sits really far away from the sides of your head and makes you a bigger target.

The bottoms - On the Flex 7 JT made the bottoms much softer than any other Flex. I have actually gotten several fat lips from taking a paintball to the mouth through my Flex bottom.

Pros: breath-ability, Affordable, Customizable
Cons: Lenses scratch easily
I've owned many of pairs of flexes and I've always liked the mask for what it has to offer.

If you buy a newer pair of googles, some are close to twice the price of a pair of flex's. Yet flex's do just a good of a job protecting your face and giving you the ability to see clearly without fogging.

You can get flex frames, flex bottoms, flex straps, flex lenses and even flex soft ears, all separate. You can customize every part of this mask.

The bad thing is, the lenses scratch pretty easy. It seems like they scratch much easier than most other high end google systems. But for the price, I can excuse it.
