Awesome little chronograph. Simply hold the button down when you want to read, let go of the button when you don't. If you want to measure BPS, just keep the button pressed. It's not rocket science.

The only real complaints I've seen are it's hard to use a handheld chrono by yourself. I use this by myself with old school Angels and Autocockers, and I've never had a problem. YMMV

Pros: Accurate, lightweight
Cons:
Small and accurate (not sure of how close compared to the standard field chrono). I never was questioned for my BPS after chrono'ing with it. Good for woodsball when the games are longer and you think you may be shooting a little hot or when the chrono may be mobbed with players trying to get on the field.

Appearance wise it's nothing stylish. Yellow stopwatch looking device.

Pros: light, easy to use
Cons: awkward to hold sometimes
I bought my Xradar used, and after using it a few time I would say it's a pretty solid budget chronograph. The setup is extremely easy. You literally just put the batteries in and you are good to go. The screen is easy to read. The chrono seems to be accurate when comparing results to my fields chronograph.

My only issue is having to hold it from the top, and stretching to the barrel tip to get the most accurate readings is awkward at times. I'm not very tall so holding a whole setup with one hand and streching my other arm down my whole gun overhand is not the most comfortable, but it certainly isn't that big of a deal either.

Pros: Simple hand-held unit, can do BPS and FPS
Cons: Very finicky about where it's placed, misses shots
I bought one of these to test, intending to purchase four or five for refs. Out of the box they work great but aren't that much to look at. They do BPS as well as FPS and can read upwards to 399 fps, which is good for rec players who like to jack up their markers on the field.

Sadly the chrono is extremely fussy about its position relative to the barrel and ball. If you cover the antenna (the back plate of the chrono) with your fingers you won't get a reading. If you put it too far back or forward it won't read.

Once you learn how to use it however it's a nice little pocket-sized chrono that runs on a single 9v and lasts a long time. Good value for $80.
