This is Evil's high end paintball marker.
It is a ram/poppet type marker. It comes equipped with Evil upgrades that originally were used on other guns, such as Intimidators and Impulses.
Evil PimpI had minor issues with this gun, it chopped more than I'd like, and it was an air hog. I wouldn't buy another, but I would recommend shooting one.

Mine has the bigger trigger frame and blade trigger along with a WAS board. The stock board is fine but the bigger frame and new trigger are a bit of a must.
Cons: She's a bit like a chunky girl who knows what she's doing. She's not something you necessarily brag about but she keeps you happy

I have owned my pimp for 3 1/2 years now and i still love it. It is a great shooting marker, if tuned right it is very efficient and shoots very smooth. I would recommend this marker, you can find them very cheap now ($150). They are solid markers, i have never had any problems with it. Its a straight beast, it continues to work when others haven't. I used it over my o6 ego majority of this season. But it has been replaced by my o8 ego. It is heavy, but performs very well. This marker will shoot better than any marker under $500, no doubt, and even keep up with any high end. It may not look the best, it may not be the lightest, but overall it is a solid marker.
The pros definitely outweigh the cons. I would recommend this to anyone, unless you are a little girl that can't lift heavy things.
^the bolt is very easy to put in and out. the same as any ego, except you twist the back instead of pulling up on the pin. to take it off you twist the end cap and pull it out. to put it back in, you line it up with the ram (making sure the ram is in the correct spot) and twist the cap back the other way and it pops right in. Easy
Appearance: Could look better, eft milled pimps are beautiful
Performance: Great shooting marker, keeps up with any highend
Reliability: Great reliability, never had any problems.
Value: For <$200 this marker is well worth it. It will out shoot any ion, rail, mini, slg

Evil PimpWell this gun is okay. You can get them for pretty cheap, there fast witch is a pro. Well I don't have much to say about this gun but if you can find one for under $200 I would buy it.

The Pimp does not need nearly any upgrades performancewise out of the box.
The last version I've purchased had very nice big trigger guard, modded detents (springs and SS bals), added: clamping feedneck, small Hybrid LPR (replacing original LPR), delrin bolt, WAS board (replacing stock board) and reliable and consistent Detonator regulator.
The maintenenace is really simple once you make it for the first time.
It operates on pressure between 100 to 130 PSI which allows you to choose a little bigger kick and better air efficency or nearly no kick and bigger air consumption (LPR around 100 PSI).
Overall I rate it very high after over one year of usage - it never let me down.
The only cons is a weight that is not around 20% to 30% higher that current models but overall great marker. Current price on e-bay around 150 $

I used an evil pimp for a short time, however when I had it, it was a great gun. They are VERY underrated. They come with an uncapped-semi board or the option of the ghetto 7.0 ramping board. (mine was semi only) but shot very fast. it was pretty consistent usually +/- 3-4 over the chrono. It was pretty easy to maintain, has some really nice features. like the delron quick release bolt, which was very easy to clean in the event of a break, also required no lube and didnt have any orings to worry about. maintenance is very easy, the detonator reg is ok, it works pretty well but you can always upgrade that if you run into problems. All in all it is a high quality gun with a very cheap price tag. You get everything you do from a high end.
This marker is not for the weak or someone looking for a small light weight setup. I don't have the exact weight of the marker however i would guess the marker its self around the 3-3.5 lb range. ITS NOT LIGHT. also my personal opinion is its not esthetically pleasing. its an ugly gun. but it makes up for those things by being pretty reliable and able to shoot with a lot of todays mid to high end guns.

Evil PimpA great gun for what they can be found for now. Basically the same as a '05 Ego. I would really reccomend.

I got the pimp new back in '06. The stock trigger has an odd, backwards slope. I didn't like it, but there are plenty of other great triggers out there. I picked up a double blade trigger. Thanks to an easy to use guide here on the nation, changing the trigger wasn't a problem.
The pimp has good, but not amazing efficiency. I usually get around 900 shots off of a 68 3000 fill. It's hard to find other markers in the ~$150 range that gets that efficiency though.
The main problem I've had with the pimp was when the detonator reg blew. I wasn't a fan of the detonator to begin with, but I couldn't recommend it to anyone after what happened to mine. When the detonator blew, it also blew the lpr and noid. I'm just now getting around to fixing all of it.
The respirator should be replaced anyways. It has a bad problem with creeping, and is a pain to adjust. It's easy to find old Timmy regs, and if you can come across one of the hybrid regs, even better.
Regs aside, this is a great gun. The stock ghetto board is easy to operate, and comes with semi and ramping. It may be heavy, but it is a very sturdy gun. The .689 pipe barrel it comes with is very nice. The bolt twists out quite easily. You have to be a bit careful not to scratch the paint, but the ram is easy to unscrew and lube. The stock detents wear out pretty fast, but good ones are cheap and easy to find.
This gun is great for a beginner or someone who likes to toy with their guns. With a simple switch of detents (and probably a new hpr) this gun is ready to go out of the box. If you want to upgrade it, there are plenty of options. $150 won't buy you a better gun. This is the most underrated gun on the market. I would recommend this gun to anyone looking to pick up a cheap, quality high end marker.
