Price paid: $274.95
Pros: When it works it works
Cons: anything that has to do with air and warrenty
Ok i have used this PMR SE scince feb 2008 and i feel i can give a fair review on it

Feedneck: its not a bad feedneck, deff not the best in the game but i use the vlocity and it works fine and gets the job done

Color/Appearance: Awesome i bought the red and black looks great strait out of the box

Barrel: the two piece that it comes with is ok, would deff recomend if you looking to taking this gun to a whole new level go buy the Ul Barrel. I like to over bore and i got the .692 14 inch

Maitence: not that bad at all, just like every other gun after practice you have to clean and re lube it up. ***** Do not use the dye lube that comes in the box***** Go buy some sleek or hater sauce and that fixes alot of your headaches. Hater suace is the greatest invention in the world go buy it

Trigger: no complains really here, i only use psp mode at practice so cant say its that bad

Grip: not the best grips not hypbrid by any means

shots per fill: Terrible worst of any gun I own or will ever own. Off a 45/45 mabe full vlocity and 5 pods off 68/3000 full hopper and 3 pods( cutting it clost) If you are looking to play 7 man or long games without getting fills skip this gun and keep going

My air trouble and Dye: Ok here is why i dont highly recomend this gun to people. The gun shoots amazing when it works, but when it doesnt work forget it ur day is done and you need to borrow a mini or an old ego from a friend to finish practice. Absolutly rediculas how much i had to go threw to fix this thing and as im typing its still not fixed. Ok heres the countless stories i have about this gun
story 1: I show up to practice ready to go fill up my tank, screw it into the gun and almost exactly then i blew the fitting that goes into the asa. To say the least i finished practice usuing the ego maniac (flawless)
Story 2: Dye sends me another fitting and assures me that i just had a bad fitting when they put that one on. So the fitting they give me works for a weekend then the next week it does the same thing and blows and i know my vlocity wasnt too high bc after practice i chronoed last week at 282. I called dye a little more angrey but not too upset because things happen.
Story 3: I get the second replacement fitting and i have the guys at the pro shop do it to make sure its on there right they put tefflon tape around it screw in someone elses tanks and it blows for the 3rd time!!! not one not two but three. So i call dye a little ticked off and they give me the oh its just another bad one, so you tell me if there are any good ones ok. To fix the problem they send me their finest proto asa on/off
Story 4: i put the asa on/off on it works great when i put it on at home the day before practice and i go out to the field practice and im chronoed at 284 and as soon as the ref says go go go i turn to lane and it starts leaking out of the part where you screw it in to the asa to get air. This was not just a little leak this was so bad the ref asked me to get out of the game and unscrew the tank , thats really bad. So i call dye again as of this moment im their best customer and they say send it in we will shoot half a case and see if we cant fix it. All of this happens in under a month and a half

Over all i cant give it reliablity at all this thing everytime i step onto the field i wonder if its going to shoot at all. Although dye does fix all your problems after about 3 it gets old and after a certain point i said screw it and im about to buy eather an ego maniac or an etk 2 or 1

Would not recomend this gun for a newer player when it works amazing when it doesnt forget it

Due to everything that happened i would only give this gun a 6/10 or a 7/10 and I personaly will never buy a Dye gun ever again.

It is a great gun for the price. The only problems that I have had with the marker is the battery wires busted off the board and I ran out of air in the middle of a gun fight. All in all it is a reliable gun for people that can't afford the high end markers.

Cons: little kick,
Good marker for beginning tournament use (aka Young guns, D4 type stuff). Will shoot up there with the big boys, easily hits 13.33bps without trouble. Used mine for PSP D4 and have only had 1 problem with it after almost a year (o ring needed changing).

Maintenance is EASY on this thing. only thing that is mildly difficult is the Hyper 2 but that only needs cleaning every 40,000 shots i believe.

Consistency: Good
Efficiency: Good enough for at least 1 game, would not trust it in a d3 xball match with 2 min inbetween games to last...
Software: Easy to use effective however there is a typo in the manual (says theres two settings at 14 bps, one is actually 13bps)

Accuracy: Proto 2 piece is basically a Dye UL barrel, therefore its accuracy is good with bore matching.

Conclusion... For the price it is well worth it as a beginners/intermediate gun and a perfect back up

Pros: Light, fast, smooth, accurate, quiet, reliable
Cons: Bolt stick in cold and trigger pivot point
Alright, I got this pmr last febuary to replace my ion thinking this would be just a minor change. I was wrong. It runs smooth(not as smooth as a dm but close enough) and fast. It is fairly quiet and accurate and will not chop paint. The marker looks nice and is very light but it could go for a ul frame and an on/off. The price that this marker was going for when I got it was $499.95 but the store owner gave it to me for $175.95 and the pmr would still be worth the price at $500. It runs equal with the egos and DMs at my field with no problem at all so it could be priced at $700 and would still be worth it. The only problems I have had with this marker is bolt stick in the winter but raising dwell a few clicks fixes that, the trigger pivot point is in front of the trigger so it's kinda annoying, and the battery harness which all protos pre 2k8 had.

A very good gun for $275.00. Very reliable yet it does have some weight to it. Looks sick with a UL Frame on it. This gun has never failed me once on the field and shoots amaxing. It is not very good on air but what can I say, its a Matrix.

Overall a very good gun for the price.

this is a good gun for people but for me, it was kind of a hassle. it hit whatever i aimed at. quiet, ect. i just did not like the cheap elecronics. i replaced the eyes 2 times, the battery harness 3, adn the dip switch broke.
it lso randomly drops off and has WAY more kick than my etek. my etek has zero kik but the pmr kicks like a mule.the manifold inner bolt oring also always swells.

nice gun but too many hassles
