I've been in the sport for about 3 years now and I have paid up to $450 dollars for some markers. This gun blows them away. I am a little bias though since I am a hardcore Spyder fan. This gun shoots very accurate with a stock barrel. It is very efficient and looks awesome. I have put approximately 3,000 rounds through it and not chopped a single ball. My only complaint is the feedneck, its not very strong and you have to tighten the crap out of it. I would strongly recommend this gun to anyone. It is an awesome gun right out of the box.

Light (compared to Spyders) Fast, strong, less kik

I love my RSX. It shoots like no other. For a Spyder, it's got waaaay less kick and lighter. It's still heavy though. You'll only notice this when you're playing a sloooow game though. Same for the noise. It's pretty loud. The Tadao board just destroys all and I love it. It's so fast. It's also pretty comfortible. The on/off ASA doesn't have a knob stopper so it can fall off so I replaced that with a CP on/off ASA. The VS-2 compared to this is lighter with less kick. It's just that the VS-2 was not too reliable to it's worth the extra weight and kick to get the RSX. It's not a huge difference anyway. It is veryt durable and has a nice flare to it with the platinum body kit. I love it.

Got my RSX a few weeks ago and it's blowin me away. I've put a couple cases through it just to break it in and it's only getting better. I put an eggy3 on it and a fiber 68/3000 and even though it's a little heavy (for all you whiners out there), it still pumps paint with a lot of the more expensive markers. I put the Musashi 7 chip in it and it'll do well over 20bps.
The inline reg/ low pressure 3G valve system seems to save a lot of air and the chip helps on battery life tremendously. Obviously, as with any marker, you need a great barrel. I chose the FREAK, but my J&J ceramic works very well also. Haven't chopped a ball yet and I only broke one in the stock barrel playin' around with some cheap wal-mart paint. I like the "sabre" trigger, some prefer the rocking trigger on the VS3. It's all personal preference. The feedneck is a pain for a few days until it's broken in and actually clamps down on the loader.
*Don't use your thumbnail to push the access membrane buttons*. Doing so could just push the connection further into the circuit board and make it even harder to connect. Just give a firm push with the inside of your thumb. It WILL work. I put the Musashi 7 chip right in when I got the gun so I don't know what the guy below is talking about pushing both buttons at the same time. I just have to use the trigger to access the settings and it's easy enough.
Again, the Musashi 7 chip is WELL worth the 20 bucks. It adds an entire new universe of settings to the marker. Cost/value, this marker is amazing. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a sturdy, inexpensive E-marker.

Ok, I have not used this marker on the field yet but out of the box I liked it. I did not even get the box home and the marker was in pieces on my desk at work.
The Bad:
The first thing that I noticed was that the trigger had a lot of side to side movement, Like Kingman may have left some spacers or something off of the trigger pin. I put an VHMW washer in to help with the movement and problem solved.
The ASA on/off valve seams like an cheep cop out. Be careful with the know it will screw right off and can be lost.
The feed neck is not the new style spyder/ kingman feed neck it is another type still trying to find that out. Because the swivel lock neck is not that good IMHO. Some may like it some may not.
The rear pistol grip frame bolt holds the velocity adjustor in place and will ketch you off guard if you don't read the manual.
Also if you are like me and take every thing apart pay attention to the location of the battery and solenoid cables go you can put them in each others sockets and power the marker up. don't ask!!!!
I went a head and got the Musashi 7 VS chip and will play with it instead of the stock chip.
9.6v battery needs to be replaces with an lithium not an dinky NiCad that will be dead in a year or two.
The Good:
Light weight compared to the autocockers that I currently field.
Trigger pull can be adjusted to a very tight pull
Color schema could be speedball or scenario ball were concealment is needed.
Nice milling on the bolt it has an gentle curve to move the air to the ball.
Todao board stock even if it is neutered in stock form and for 20 to 30 dollars you get the full chip and all the features.
Low pressure gun can designed to operate at 230 psi.
Ok, this marker kicks. when the marker comes on ramp it jsut lifts up quick it can be controled but you loose several balls to the rise. second any paint will knock the eyes out and limit you marker to 15 BPS. i was having issues with another maker and switch the hoper on to the spyder with out cleaning the hopper real well and hit the ball limit quickly. the barrel need to be changed i was using the DXS gold and was getting some wild balls mabye ever 5 to 7 ball. but over all an good group. this is an good spyder the software is good and it will not chop paint but if you have paint chops in the hopper like i did you will run into problems. The gun never real got it velocity up even with 3000 round though it so i can i was running about 275 +/- 25. not sure how long break in needs to be but it should have smoothed out. She will dump a lot of paint but she is not a tame marker at 15+ BPS. I would recomend this as a starter gun.

Ok, so the RS and RSX arrived at the shop Monday. First some recent history. When the VS2 and 3 came out I was kind of excited. I've bad mouthed "sear trippers" from day one but here was Kingman finally making them right. The G3 low pressure balanced valve and lighter weight hammer and true low pressure operation finally justified sear tripping. (And then they screwed everything up by putting out the VS1 - everything that is wrong with a sear tripper.)
But the VS had a dawg ugly, unreliable regulator. So when I got a look at the RSX I figured NOW they got it right!
And for the most part they did.
The RSX comes with all the good stuff the VS has (Yeah, NO rocking trigger), 3 way adjustable trigger, break beam eyes , G3 low pressure balanced valve but where the ugly reg was there is now an on/off ASA. The reg is now a "normal" in line reg.
The finish is nice. I think the milling on the RS is more attractive than the RSX. Compared to a Proto Rail the RSX is big and clunky and though it's priced about the same it will never compete. Out of the box it comes with parts, tools, Kingman's nine point SIX battery and a wall charger that plugs into the gun.
I've never liked twist lock feednecks so it's gets no plus mark there. The rubber grip spins on the in line reg which is some what annoying but it does let you get it in a position to fit your particular grip. The inline adjusts like the old stock ION reg, requiring a wrench and hex, which I never liked. Keep in mind this is just to get the reg pressure close. Actual velocity adjustment is a hex nut at the rear.
When I went to install the battey I found the wires routed one way in the RS and another in the RSX. On the RS I had to fish the wires out from behind the capacitor so the battery would fit. On the RSX they were out but just like the RS they had to be mashed over to one side so the grip cover would go back on. ALWAYS be careful moving these wires around.
The quick release bolt pin no longer pulls completely out sending the spring and ball bearing lock flying away. It has a gauge after the inline which is always a plus. The eyes are easy to get to and the rubber ball detents are adequate.
The push button access membrane buttons suck. Sorry. I hope that doesn't cost me a ban but that's as polite as it gets. It's hard enough pushing one but at one point in the set up you have to push both of them at the same time. They are the most miserable buttons imaginable, much like the ION on/off. The instruction manual is a bit of a chore to read.
The ASA on/off is nice. Easy to turn, just a little hard to get to around the hose which of course is metric threaded. The ASA and inline is 1/8 standard so you can replace the metal hose with standard micro fittings and line.
Semi (capped and uncapped), PSP, Millennium and 3 shot burst. It's a truly low end electric trying to disguise itself as a high end by way of the Tadao board. A totally useless add on. This one is almost a maybe.

Kingman Group Spyder RSXI just recieved my spyder rex. I put the tank in, and the gun doesn't pressurize. The psi gauge on the side of the gun never left 0. How do I fix that.
