Everything you could want in a barrel system. Its relatively cheap and is well worth it. Matches paint very well with the exception of .686 bore which can be substituted by .002 +-. It clears very well. Accuracy wise, in my opinion it is more accurate than the ultralite and the matchstik. If you want to invest in a kit, buy this one. They have great customer service and will fix any problem you encounter. With one of the bores, I had a problem of it being hard to get out, so they sent me a new one no questions asked for free. Appearance:
I picked up the dust black back in 09 for Woodsball. The finish hasn't worn yet and I have put some serious miles on it.

Performance:
Amazingly accurate. This barrel is better than my DW Fibur ever hoped to be. As with all barrels, a good paint to bore match is a must. I have found that slightly overboring shows great results here.

From 70 feet out, 9/10 rounds of DXS silver would hit within 8 inches of each other.

Reliability:
Lightweight and strong. I've never taken a core sample but I'd like to think that it would hold up.

Value:
These barrels are a little on the pricey side, but you will have a barrel that will outlast your marker.

Cons: none
I purchased the 2007 scepter kit for my autococker last september. I paid $130 with shipping for the kit with the cocker back and the impulse threaded back.

There was a delay between the tiem i placed my order and when it shipped of almost one month. I kept calling and no one answered. After a month, i got through, and it turned out that their internet and phone had been shut off by their provider. To make it up to me, they threw in a jersey free of charge and refunded my priority shipping cost. Thumbs up for service there.

The barrel itself looks amazing, and the bores are all sized correctly. I love the case it came in as well, despite the fact that it is a tad difficult to remove the inserts.

I have yet to have a barrel break or roll out in my cocker, and it still looks and shoots as good as it did when it arrived on my doorstep.

any breaks that do occur (in my ion when i had it) get cleaned out within 5 shots

Cons: Could look better (still not bad by any means).
I love this barrel kit. I have the 14" gloss black Scepter, and I have a 6 bore kit (They sent me the wrong insert size in my 5 bore kit, and when I told them they apologized and sent me a brand new insert).

It's accuracy is great with any paint (Which is the purpose of a barrel kit). It is also quieter than most stock barrels. And If you manage to break paint in the barrel, it easily shoots through it in only a few shots. If it doesn't clean itself out, just pull through a squeegee once, and you're good to go.

The whole kit is also very light, and comes with a nice finish.

Recommended to anyone.

Pros: Accurate, not too heavy, came with a case
Cons: Inserts sometimes get stuck. Can't self clear
I had an old style Powerlyte Scepter kit years ago. I stumbled upon the newer style kits on Ebay with a guy selling them BNIB. I decided to pick one up. Just as a preface, the old kits and the newer style ones are VERY different. The new style inserts are at least an inch or two shorter than the old style. Also, the old style inserts were not aluminum finished. They were more matte and felt a bit heavier but more durable. I am biased and loved my old Scepter kit.

That said, the newer kit doesn't disappoint actually. The bores are pretty accurate and for the most part and be inserted/removed without too much effort. I did have one of my smaller bores (.680) have a tendency to get stuck a bit.

The barrel itself is nice with a matte black finish (mine at least). The porting definitely changes the tone of the gun. Slightly muffled I'd say, but usually I don't pay attention to these things. One problem I had playing though was that when there was a barrel break for whatever reason, the subsequent shots would curve very badly. I'm placing partial blame on the small bore low quality paint I was shooting a few times. But the only way to continue was to break out the squeegee and clear it. I have had better success with self-clearing barrels when the control bore is longer (i.e. the old Scepter).

Overall though I can't complain. I wanted a barrel kit that could cover small paint. Those bores were available and it was relatively inexpensive. I miss the old scepter but it doesn't look like those will show again. This kit will serve its purpose.

Price paid: $100.00
Pros: Light / Accurate / Cheap / Shoots through breaks
Cons: I'm not a huge fan of the looks
Accuracy: Since accuracy is largly a result of paint to bore match, and this kit has just about every bore you need, your accuracy will be great.

Noise: This barrel is pretty quiet. Quieter than my ego or G3 barrel

Shooting through breaks: This barrel is awesome. I have had some breaks that I was able to clear in 2-3 shots.

Weight: Very light for an aluminum barrel

Looks: I feel like they could offer some better colors but they are pretty good and the milling is also good.

I like this barrel kit, it was well worth the money. Accurate, all kinds of bore sizes can be used, inserts lock in place, self cleaning, strong external design (inserts are weak, but they are inserts), looks fine on my gun.

All in all I enjoy the barrel. Haven't seen anything better for the money.

So i slowly upgraded from a SP progressive to a SP All American(2 piece), and i was ready to get a barrel kit. i tried out my friend's Freak, and was decently satisfied. his kit, however, is a little silly. few if any of his bores were stamped correctly, so he had to find the relative sizes of his inserts by himself.

I wanted to avoid this problem when i got my barrel kit, but i am 17, and you learn the value of money when you have to work for it, so i wasnt looking to break the bank and spring for an Orbium3.

I found the scepter after a few weeks of searching around, and decided to order it.

I could not be happier. It is a definite improvement over my AA and progressive, and i like it more than my friends freak. despite being one color(i got dust black with gloss black), it stands out on my marker(impulse). many at my field have not seen either, and it feels good to be asked "dude, what is that, its crazy accurate"

This barrel kit is the best for its price range. it eliminates the QC issues of barrels up to 5/3 its price. it is probably the best insert based kit that is not made my SM-1.

it isnt louder than the freak, AA, or progressive, and is lighter than all 3.
i dont know how well it shoots clean. I rarely get breaks, and when I do, i swab immediately. it shoots around 85%-90% after a good swab, and is back to 100% after a squeegee.

9/10. because it has tremendous value and good performance. it is not the best, but it is good.
the best for its price range($0-$120) in performance, and probably the most bang for your buck.

i hear that powerlyte will also do custom anno tips. i have been meaning to call them about this, but keep forgetting.
