Review Body:
The BKO is an air forward/spring return stacked tube electro-pnuematic marker. It operates on a three way solenoid. The simplicity of the ram allows for reliable operation and few maintenance needs. This simplicity also comes at the main drawback of the BKO - the physically capped BPS. Because the ram is spring returned, the BKO is capped at a limit of 18bps. While this isn't so much of an issue with current tournaments being capped at 15bps or lower, it is of some concern to those that like to tinker or modify markers.
As an entry level marker, electronic eyes at the time were a new concept and very few BKO's were offered with PDS from the factory. This was in the earlier years quite a drawback, but with modern force fed loaders the 18bps cap doesn't really weigh in as much of a drawback.
In short, for a marker that can be had for around $80 used with an assortment of upgrades it's hard to go wrong with a BKO. It would make a good project marker or even as a backup.

$300 when i bought it brand new back in the day , but now you can get for real cheap so its value is alot higher in terms of what you get for your money.
Pros-Reliable (never gone down on me mechanicaly or electronicaly)
-Cheap
-Easy to clean
-Simple once you get to know it
Cons
-No PDS stock.. you have to get them installed which cost a pretty penny
- Upgrades are usualy bought online , proshops dont cary much ICD accesories.
- You need upgrades to really make it perform as good as you want it to
- like most guns , stock barrel aint that great
- capped ram
- on mine the mini switch to turn on/off just broke but easy 5$ fix.
- resale value.
Overall if you have some time and money to spend (you dont need a fortune) you can make this a decent shooting gun. Mine is very welled uped and i really love it as a back up gun and plan to keep it.

the gun is defenetly worth 65 bucks. the gun only has semi which sucks. the gun has good effeicentcy. the gun chops sometimes because the detent are little oring which dont stop doubly feeding. if you buy the gun you will have to cut a piece a macro line thin and glue it into the oring detents. the feedneck is ok but i would sudjest buying a clamping feedneck. it doent asept ion feednecks. the gun come with no reg or asa so you have to spend more money to get those.the gun also has no eyes. but if you buy eyes it will stop choping. overall the gun is a good gun but will ned alittle bit of money put into it.
edit: i also own a pirahna r6. and i had many detents lying around. i put the detent in there and mad sure the bolt could still go forward with out cutting it. the detent is like a little nubby. i went to the field today and it worked flawllesly. didnt chop a ball.

Indian Creek Design, Inc. BKOi had mine completely upgraded with the help of TANK from tantrumpaintball, not a stock part left...then the gun rocked solid.

Why can I say whatever I want? Because I have over 15 years experience, and I tell it like it is. This gun, while not very pretty to look at....is, and always will be a fantastic shooter. Thought I would pick one up since I couldnt back in the day. It's fast, and sure it's capped....who the hell can physically pull faster than 18bps anyway?NOT YOU!!!! I am physically straining myself at about 14bps, and I am only 25! The gun has ugly bulky features, but it's over-all an excellent Novice / Intemediate marker. When has anyone really had a problem they couldnt field strip with this gun? NEVER! It's virtually the most reliable electro you can purchase!
next, lets talk about upgrades...OK, when you want to upgrade, think twice!! I have one with a drop forward / asa, and that's all you need. It comes stock with the Delrin Bolt, and that's quiet and efficient! Remember this gun is like 6-7 years old, and needs TLC! Dont go buy some Cheap beat up gun and think it's gonna perform like a champ! Be calm, and look around before paying $100 for this gun! They will suprise you when you use them!!!!If anything, just get a barrel...a all american barrel around 14" .689 should do you some good!
DONT OVER PAY, AND BE SURE YOU KNOW YOUR GUN!!!!
Takes CO2, AND HPA! Don't USE CO2 if you want your gun to last. CO2 contains dirt particles, and RUST! it's not meant for your gun!!!!

It was a pretty decent gun for it's time and it was really fast. Performed well and like it should but did hog my air. I had it break on me 5+ times and had to keep fixing it so I eventually got a new gun. It had it's prime now it's outdated, ICD isn't the greatest company in my opinion.

First let me start this out by saying I have paintballed for about 4 years. I have owned just about any gun you can think of, thats why I write so many reviews. Ok, lets start.
Pros-
Light
Now days its fairly cheap, when upgraded its a good gun
Stock Trigger is nice
Adjustable spring tension
Relativly Small
Cons-
-stock barrel sucks
-Need to upgrade alot of parts
-if you don't set the regs right you will be chopping and breaking paint like crazy
- electronics is very delicate, very delicate
-Chops Paint
-I prefer polished finishes (my opinion)
Ok so overall its an ok gun, just needs alot of upgrades and tuning. The reason why I give it such a low score is because there are much better guns out there for the same price, or cheaper. I would not recoment you purchase this gun, instead go do a little more research on the internet and find the gun thats right for you.
I give this gun a

Ok, I had one of these for about 2 weeks. I hated this gun (read cons). This thing is Heavy, shot terrible, No Eye's, and didn't shoot that fast.
Pros- Cheap and shot the 15 bps.
Cons- Tall. Heavy. Shot Bad. Broke Paint. Pain to work on. There CS was terrible when they was in business. Only a hopper and 4 pods out of a 68/4500 tank. Had to put major ups on it before it was a good gun.
Conculsion- Dont buy one of these markers unless you want to play rec ball. This will not serve you very well if you are going to play tourny ball. You sink you money in these and never get it back. at the price buy a Ion, Fusion or a older Timmy.

I had a BNIB Bko a while back and I was very dissappointed. The gun leaked out of the box, came with no asa setup and the feedneck was too small for my main hopper to fit (it wasn't a clamper or twistlock). The gun had no eyes and chopped like beast, the stock board was garbage (no adjustability). I'd stay away from a BKO if I were you, it won't do anything but look pretty on a shelf. There are some nice ones out there that have had money poured into them for a new set of eyes, board, feedneck and asa, but unless you're buying one fully upped form a trusted source forget about it.

Indian Creek Design, Inc. BKOThis was my first electro gun. I loved it. Fast and cheap. Only problem is it was blind so it could turn into a blender very easily.
