Pros: Simple, inexpensive, reliable
Cons: Nothing special when comes to perfromance
I have owned this gun for 3 years, I replaced the mech trigger frame with an electronic one. I has held up very well. No big problems, just keep it oiled, cleaned, and it will last forever and work all the time.

The accuracy and performance stock, are nothing special. I does need a new barrel (this was an older model, though, so the new ones may have slightly better stock barrels). I would personally reccomend something realatively cheap, like a J&J ceramic barrel, or cp 1 piece, or 1 piece pepper stick, or something.

I would also reccomend a clamping feedneck, if you plan on keeping the gun for a while, or any spider for that matter, invest in a clamping feedneck. It makes life a lot easier than dealing with those stupid plastic feednecks

Overall, for the price, I would rate it an 8 our of 10, because, while nothing special, its a great backup gun to go shoot around in the woods with and it has never let me down. With an after market barrel, it is decently accurate and it is also decently efficient.

Pros: Relatively Inexpensive, Reliable
Cons: Bottom Line leaks, Expansion Chamber Leaks
I've had this gun for over two years and it's been very reliable.
Over all, I'd say that it's a durable and good entry-level marker. One problem I had with it though, is the Expansion Chamber has a tendency to leak and not do well with compressed air compared to CO2.
In the end I had to remove it and just stick with CO2, basically making it an old Spyder without a bottomline.

Kingman Group Spyder Xtra This was my third marker, and I absolutly love it. I have had this marker for 9 years and the only problem I have ever had with it was the fact I couldnt play as much as I wanted to. Great buy.

Pros: Beginner Gun
Cons: Beginner Gun
This was my first gun, and to be honest with you, I thought it was an awesome gun. Mine never, ever broke, it always shot well. The barrel is fine, the trigger is fine, everything is fine. If someone tries and tells you anything else about any of that then that would be because they abused the gun. It will last a long time and is perfect for the paintballer looking to have fun with friends.

like most have said- wonderful starter gun, its light, farely small, and you can upgrade them. worth it to upgrade...depends on who you talked to. i added bigger drop and a barrel. if something breaks find a spyder for dirt cheap and you can pull any piece from any kingman out there and have it fixed. ive built three spyders from scrap parts(no big feat.) in my year plus of owning it i never had to fix it. again wonderful starter gun.

Kingman Group Spyder Xtra Great off the shelf first gun. Runs on C02, little heavy on the trigger pull but over all super dependable with minimal maintenance. Highly recommended for getting into the sport
