for 361.16 i got a VSC phantom with m16 grip, no acid wash i just like it black. I also got a digi camo leg harness that can hold 10 10 round tubes and 5 twelve grams. i also got 15 10 round tubes with speedcaps, 10 12 grams, a detent ring set and a 3.5 oz co2 tank. after taking it out of the box and going though everything and staring at it for like a year i took it outside to shoot. I aired it up with a 12 gram and started to shoot and shoot and shoot. i got 45 really really good shots off my 12 gram but then i decided to stop because i only have like 30 paintballs left and didnt want to use them. Its amazing

i have been very pleased with my phantom,
the only problem that i have had with it is that at first when i pick paint that is poor i wil break a ball and then it is hard to play after that.
usually it will clean itself out good enough to play but its not as accurate as it could be
but a great gun and i love my phantom,
actually sometimes i go to the field to play with my autococker pump i end up just putting it back in my bag and playing stockclass all day
still to this day ive only shot that autococker once

My phantom is my favorite gun that I have ever used. It is very accurate, quiet, easy to maintain, light, customizable, and incredibly reliable.
There is nothing worse than getting to the field after spending quite a bit of money and not being able to play. I have never had any problems like that with my phantom. It is the one gun that I plan on keeping for as long as I am able to play. It is the most fun gun I have ever used. Not to mention, the respect you get when using a phantom is amazing. Sure, some players may be tossing out ropes of paint at me. But when I pop out for a second a shoot them in the mask with one shot.. it's a great feeling. The only down fall to the gun is that it is bored very large. This can be fixed with a hundred dollar + barrel kit OR you can spend a few dollars on detent rings and they work just as well. The detend rings and a trigger shoe are the only recommended upgraded that I have. The trigger shoe makes the trigger much more comfortable. I also have an undercocking kit as well which I love. And I had a stock that I tried out once and immediately took off. It deducted from how fast I was able to move the gun around and it didn't help my accuracy at all.

Pros: Small, Light, Autotrigger
Cons: Pump Action. Stock barrel lacks widgets/detents
I won a VSC phantom for taking first place in NWOSC series. I used my Freeflow Lotus pump 'cocker throughout the event. I find the Sheridan design to be superior to the Nelsons. The majority of Sheridan's feel more solid, and I like how they generally feel like my "normal" marker in my hands.

With that said, the Phantom is by no means a bad marker. It's solidly built, has a simplistic design, and gets the job done. The biggest gripe I have would have to be the way you adjust velocity (with a rod, down the barrel). Otherwise, the Phantom is a solid, proven performer that doesn't break the bank to own.

On one last note, I would like to point out that the VSC doesn't really fall into the true "Stock Class" marker category. It has an auto-trigger. You'll find some old-timers that'll gripe about that...

With it's low profile and great accuracy, it is a lot of fun

The cci detent kit helps, but is not as good as a freak stealth barrel
