I've owned Phantoms on and off for almost a decade now, and I still think it's the best pump out there. For the price, you won't find a more versatile, reliable pump.

I don't know if I can add anything that hasn't been said before. Phantoms are rugged and very consistent, even on straight CO2. And the customer service is TOP NOTCH. CCI is almost a one man show run by Mike Cassady. He's the king. He'll take care of you every time, and he's been doing it for a long, long time. Rare to see that these days.

Some of you may be laughing becuase i got it for 40$. One day I went to a pawn shop and happened to notice a Phantom for 40$ knowing that they are 250$ new i bought it. It wasnt acualy a vsc when i bought it so I went to my Local Paintball store and bought a vertical air kit 15 rd feed tube ect. It ended up saving me a few hundered bucks.
REVIEW:this gun is very light weight and durable. It is also very compact. The pump itself wasnt very smooth so I put gun oil in the pump handel. It worked like a charm now before each day of play i put a little bit in the handel and it works magic

for 361.16 i got a VSC phantom with m16 grip, no acid wash i just like it black. I also got a digi camo leg harness that can hold 10 10 round tubes and 5 twelve grams. i also got 15 10 round tubes with speedcaps, 10 12 grams, a detent ring set and a 3.5 oz co2 tank. after taking it out of the box and going though everything and staring at it for like a year i took it outside to shoot. I aired it up with a 12 gram and started to shoot and shoot and shoot. i got 45 really really good shots off my 12 gram but then i decided to stop because i only have like 30 paintballs left and didnt want to use them. Its amazing

i have been very pleased with my phantom,
the only problem that i have had with it is that at first when i pick paint that is poor i wil break a ball and then it is hard to play after that.
usually it will clean itself out good enough to play but its not as accurate as it could be
but a great gun and i love my phantom,
actually sometimes i go to the field to play with my autococker pump i end up just putting it back in my bag and playing stockclass all day
still to this day ive only shot that autococker once

Not a lot of people these days know what a Phantom is. Took it out to a field and turned a lot of heads. People asking what it was.

Shoots great and is a good end of the day gun if you are running out on paint.

People don't understand that a VSC is meant to be tilted downwards when you pump.

I do not like the adj t stock.

Pros: Reliable, lightweight, easy to customize
Cons: Unique barrel threads
I bought my VSC Phantom to get back into paintball after a few years out of the game. I wanted to save money by playing stock class pump and I chose the Phantom because I feel it is one of the best all around pumps on the market, and it's definitely one of the best stock class pumps.

The Phantom is a very lightweight and efficient Nelson design that can be configured virtually any way you want, the simple and modular design makes swapping parts a breeze. With the right parts you can change from using a stock class stick feed to a hopper in a minute or two, same goes for switching from 12grams to a co2/hpa tank.

Maintenance/Reliability
There isn't much to a Nelson pump, they're very reliable and easy to maintain. Two thumb screws are all it takes to field strip the gun. With such a simple design that uses so few parts, there's very little that can go wrong.

Performance
Stock Phantoms are efficient and consistent when running co2, I can get 30-40 shots on a single 12gram. The stock barrel is very accurate, though you'll want to buy detent rings to prevent roll outs.

Upgrades
I argue there are only 2 things you need when you buy any Phantom, detent rings to prevent rollouts (unless you're upgrading the barrel) and a T or L stock to stabilize the gun against your shoulder (unless you're using a co2/hpa tank as a stock).

I love my Phantom, wouldn't trade it for anything else. I can go out and play against guys shooting almost as many paintballs a second as I have in my stick feed and win, and nothing feels better than that.

Cons: Barrel threads are only phantom
Great gun, it's a perfect stock class pump. The best part about this marker is the PSI gauge for 12 gram to see how much is left in a cartridge. I get 33+ shots on a 12 gm cartridge. The longer barrel I have is more accurate than the 6" stubby. I have a black and blue anno that is the best looking color scheme available on this marker. The longer barrel is ported that's stock with this marker. The t-bar is an accuracy accessory needed for this marker.
