Well I bought this reg as a replacement to a sparta that someone horribly abused on a second hand marker I purchased. I purchased it and it seems to work well and is pretty consistant however I have not gotten past the break in period as of yet but I am shooting my way towards it.
I like this reg for the grip on it as it provides a nice tight feel to my marker however I wish the rubber on it wouldn't twist as much as it seems rather loose. Also I was not pleased that the reg didn't at least include a macro line elbow fitting for the price

Recently purchased a new pm8 for the new season after selling my pm6. The reg does take a few hundred shots to break in, but the difference is noticeable. My first 500 shots or so gave a standard deviation of roughly +/- 4 which would be considered acceptable. My second day of playing was the day the reg showed its true colors. Ball velocity was very consistent (+/- 1 most of the time, and +/-2 is uncommon if not rare). I forgot to mention the temperature outside was a little above freezing. Definitely a reg worth purchasing if money is not a factor.

I bought a dm9 with the hyper 3 reg on it. Even more consistent than the hyper2, the hyper 3 usually comes with a rubber grip cover on it. Doesnt affect performance but is a nice touch by Dye. Best reg out there no question, only cp regs are number 2. Dye's done it once again with a great product.

Recently purchased used to improve my Ion recharge rate. I´m not sure how broken in this reg was since it appeared to be brand new, however, as soon as you shoot it (with a reg that allows u to see the recharge rate and consistency) you can tell the difference. No drops at high rate ,no mayor velocity change (4+/-). at least 30% over CP regs in performance
