Pros: light & simple.
Cons: weak lids
i have bought all my revvys used or my friends have given them to me when they upgraded to force-fed.

APPEARANCE:
i have always loved how revvys look. they have a classic look that flows with almost any gun.

PERFORMANCE:
for an agitation style loader, they work flawlessly. i've never had one jam or misfeed with any of the (~6) revvys i've owned.

RELIABILITY:
they work time after time and have never let me down. the only beef i have is that i always seem to break my lids off of them. i'm not a big fan of speedfeed, so this is kind of a PITA.

VALUE:
they never break and sometimes you can find them for cheap. i'll probably use them for the rest of my 'career'.

Cons: Not the Fastest
This was my first ever electronic hopper. I now use it for a back up, but you know what it is always there when I need it and performs the best it can. Definitly useful when my main hopper stops working and I can grab this thing, throw it on my marker, and continue to shoot people in the face.

Viewloader Revolution (12 Volt) this is not the kind of hopper that should be used with tourney gun. if you want an ion w. a cheap tank and a cheap hopper, grab this one. you'll be satisfied and your wallet shouldn't be empty.

Pros: Reliable, tough, decent feed rate.
Cons: Not decent enough feed rate for most new guns.
This is the grandfather of electronic loaders. It's just an agitator instead of a force feed, but it'll still do the job in a pinch. I'd say it'll feed 12bps reliably, which at least makes this ok as a back up or loaner hopper.

I still have one of these as a back up to my rotor. And after all these years the board and eyes still work just fine.

By far this is view loaders finest product ever!

About 12 years ago I bought my first 12v Revy. To this day it is still in my possession and works flawlessly!

Sure, its been through a couple shells and motors over the years. I honestly have less fingers than times its feedneck broke off in my gun but due to the Revy's timeless design it was always super easy to repair. In fact it was more difficult to get the broken feedneck out of the gun than replace the entire hopper assembly.

Because of the Revy's infinite usability I always keep it in my gearbag. You never know when one of those new $180 hoppers will crap out and you'll need what you know always works - a 12v Revy.

This is the best hopper for the more relaxed crowd. Id find one used with the older plastic lids because the new clear lids are trash! This isn't the fastest hopper on the market by any means but It is a solid loader that will shoot 13 ish for you on any day. I love the two 9 volts in the back of the hopper, it feels like there is nothing on your gun. Every gear bag should have one, Everyones hopper has a bad day this is just great insurance to have.

I mainly use my Revolution for my mechanical autocockers to keep with the old school theme. Keeps up just fine with my rate of fire too. Won't be sufficient with the markers in today's market. A few things I've noticed are shells and parts are getting harder to find for the Revolution.

A classic, elegant design and the only serious choice for a long stretch of paintball's past. The 'Revy' is still a great choice for many gun types and playing styles, particularly mechanical guns. In fact, the Revy has just been put back into production by Kee under the JT brand. Not the fastest, maxing out at somewhere between 10 to 12 bps in bursts, but very light compared to even the latest generation of super loaders. Will essentially work forever if you take care of it properly.

If you can find one of the old school shells like early 2000-2003 you will have a monster of of little loader. Not as fast as a Halo or Prophecy or Rotor but for more relaxed shooting it can't be beat.
