Cons: slower feed rate
Ive used 12v revvys for over 10 years now, they are definetly not the fastest feeding but they are very reliable hoppers. They are a breeze to take apart, very simple, and they really cant jam. They are considerably lighter than some of the newer hoppers and hold just as much or more than some of the newer hoppers while having a smaller profile.

Pros: reliable, light
Cons: not exactly the fastest loader
I always recommend one of these for anyone with a mechanical gun, because shaking-and-baking with a non-agitated gravity hopper is just a pain. This is the bare minimum for an agitated hopper (but it was such a big deal when it first came out!) A servo like the ones you see in R/C vehicles revolve a paddle whenever its infrared sensors detect a gap in its feedneck. the balls get turns and one eventually falls down the feedneck. It feeds fine at around 12bps, more than most people can pull a mechanical trigger. I would not recommend this on an electric gun unless it has its own anti-chop system, like eyes.

It's great on batteries because of its simple design, compared to some of the big monsters these days.

It sure as hell beats the Quantum, which just moves non-stop and is annoying to the user and his/her teammates who are near him/her...

Appearance: it's kind of bad... and unnecessarily shaped the way it is shaped, but that's personal preference.
Performance: it's a constant mediocre-to-good feed rate, but it is constant for sure, which is good.
Reliability: keep the batteries juiced. Its mechanisms are quite simple so it's not likely to break. The shells may be a different story but if you are going to be diving around you would probably be using a better hopper anyway (which also happens to be heavier, thus more prone to breaking if not for its sturdier material, quite ironic, IMO)
Value: You really shouldn't pay $50 for this. Luckily, many used ones are sold for less than that.

This is the BENCHMARK for all loaders!

By far the most reliable loader ever created, and one of the simplest! You need to try and screw these things up!

Been using mine since I bought it brand new and it has yet to fail me! Even those that I have purchased used have worked like they were fresh from the factory. Really an unbeatable loader and a steal when purchased used nowadays.

Highly recommended for those mechs/pumps/and lower electros.

Cons: Slow
I bought one back in 2002 BNIB. I expected to use it for a year or two and then upgrade. Well, I did. But I kept the Revvy. I still have it to this very day and it is still LNIB. I use it at least four times a year for recreational/hopperball play. It feeds just enough for me to one ball without chopping. I have the old shells that are basically made of concrete and they are still crack free. I just last year had to change the batteries from the very first set! I never left the batteries in the loader when not in use, and they lasted 5 years before truly not working. This is an excellent entry level loader and for the price they can be had for now, they are invaluable for a backup.

Viewloader Revolution (12 Volt) Works well with a mech. I have the newer version with the x-board, i've never had a problem with it mis feeding. Works pretty well in wet weather, for me at least.

I love my 12vt revy =] - I started out with a shake and bake and quickly got done with it, the 12vt revy was there for me in my time of need. feeding a constant 10-12bps it kept up great with my mechanical spyder - only chopping if I shot too fast, which really wasn't all too often for that era of paintball. somewhere in there I upgraded the stock impeller and traded out the stock board for an x-board when they became available.. older shells are much better quality plastic.

still works great today, solid shells, great battery life. gotta love the revy!
