The 04/05 and Sonic Cyborgs are some of the best guns for the money (at the time they were new, and at used prices today). They are EXTREMELY efficient, capable of VERY fast rates of fire, easy to maintain, and are some of the most quality guns you can own. The ONLY down side to them is that they are a tad heavy, and somewhat blocky. Great guns otherwise.

My first marker, so stoked to have this good of an introduction to the sport. As fast as you are, with excellent reliability. So easy to break down, you'd have to be an idiot to break it. I love the milling, I reckon its the biggest jump in style for any marker in one year (05 to 05 Sonic). Combined with a 7 piece matchstik kit (the best barrel kit available imo) it is scary accurate. I got a really good deal on my purchase so I am crazy for this gun. Best decision I ever made buying second hand rather than to jump into an expensive new setup for my first buy. Sooper easy to maintain as well, idiot (or beginner) proof.
I will admit it is slightly heavy compared to the new generation of guns (i held a droid last week and just about lost m mind at how light it was) but definately not too heavy to manage. It is also rather blocky compared to say egos but the have maintained the similar blocky shape in the later model borgs so they must be on a good thing. I dont mind the little added weight and blockiness, it is very manuverable to me. It is also rather tall in appearance (due to the blockiness and milling I believe) but compared to other guns it is about average (see forums for pics).
All in all I would reccommend anyone starting out with this gun, best decision I ever made. It will keep up with the newer guns anyday and pulls some good looks from your mates. ten thumbs up

Ive owned two sonic borgs both with nox. They were the two best guns Ive owned. Ive owned Dm's, Pm's, Ego's, Timmies and Shockers and nothing can compare to how amazing my borgs were. I compare every gun to a borg. It is the only gun that I have seen that you can completely break down, and clean all the major parts within five mins. Macdev makes amazing products in general. Ive owned their tanks, barrel kits and the Gladiator regs. I, to this day regert trading my borgs away for egos.
If you are thing about getting a borg, get one. If you are thinking of getting rid of your current borg DON'T

i traded a dm5 for a rasta colored sonic borg when i was in college. it was a great gun, never gave me any problems. it was just big and heavy when compared to all the newer guns coming out in 06-07, and because of the color scheme, it was hard to keep it looking clean. but it was still a great gun.
