I bought this marker brand new in 2004 and played with it for 1.5 years. During that time I had to return it to the Evil corp for reliability issues and breakage. The hammer broke multiple times, and they sent me three free replacements. Evil tech support installed "upgrades" that were supposed to correct the problem, but there was no fixing this gun permanently.
When the gun operated, it was great. Accurate as a cocker and fast to shoot. But it was constantly down for repair. I sold it for a loss and bought an ANS GX-3 cocker (in 2005)and a Nerve (in 2006), and have never looked back. Both markers' performance puts the omen to shame.
I would not reccomend this product for anyone, especially since the company isnt in business and parts would not be available *when it does* break.

Ive had an evil omen since they first came out and still have some sitting in the closet. They are nice little markers for playing some open play fun. Great working with an electric trigger frame and an offset feedneck to allow better aiming down the marker. The only problems I've seen would be that it can be a tad bouncy if you don't adjust the recock properly and also some binding issues with the cocking arms with forcefed loaders. revys and eggs work great on this gun and even halos but I've noticed that reloader b and sound activated loaders didnt work as well.

Ok so i bought my omen used for $100. I didnt think that was that bad. The worst thing about this gun is the recock pressure. My friends all made fun of me cause i couldn't get it right and they thought it was broken (shows how much they know ). But once you get the set perfect the gun works awsome. The only other bad thing is you have to buy more cam arms for a force feed loader and a new board to go faster.

I picked up one of these off eBay awhile ago as a loaner. After a tedious teching job with the recock screw, I managed to get her shooting. I took it out for a day in the woods, and here's what I noticed:
Pros:
- The cam feed system is argueably better than an eye system, as it only feeds after you shoot, and can rarely chop.
- Unique as hell. It's definitely one of those head turners at the field.
- Comes stock with an evil detonator reg. These regs are surprisingly good.
- Rechargable battery port built in side of gun.
Cons:
- A tad heavy. Not just by today's standards, it's just a heavy gun.
- Gas hog. I had to refill my HPA tank quite a few times.
- Tech heavy. I like to think of myself as pretty competent when it comes to tinkering with guns, but this one had me raging. The recock screw drove me nuts and once I got it working I made sure to vent the frustration on the field, as I had a lot.

I've owned several omens since the 1st came out. #1 flaw is that the LIFETIME warranty is not being honored since evil got bought out by kee. Parts are impossible to find. That being said i currently own 2 working 2.0 omens and a 1.0 parts omen i want to convert to pump. Evil was awesome back in the day i even beta tested the newer parts for these guns. The 1.0 omen had a temper you had to tune it everytime you played with it or changed paint. and i broke parts on it all the time but it was cool b/c evil always hooked me up with new free parts.
I shoot my omen everytime i paintball its actually my primary at the moment while am waiting for my tadao oled usb board for my timmy.
