got the barrel kit today. put roughly 1200 rounds through it, not a single break. at 30 feet i was shooting half a foot diameters any closer it was ball on ball accurate and at about 45 feet it was about a foot diameter. really accurate. my friend owns one and swears that the angled porting clears broken paint really well but i havnt seen this happen yet as i shot almost a case without a single break. the only drawback is the noise....its very loud downrange. i have also heard that the origional pipe tips are very fragile...i looked at my friends origional tip and it did seem thin...so i got mine with the ultra tip..which is the same just looks different and noticeably has more metal and girth than the origional tip has...so go with the ultra tip if your worried about damaging the thin origional tip.
long story short, love the barrel...its accurate and dead sexy

Evil Pipe Barrel KitSo I always hear about people saying that the Pipe kit is horrible, it is loud, and not made well, prone to bending ect ect. I bought this kit right after i bought my Prostock (early '06 I'd guess)...
So I always hear about people saying that the Pipe kit is horrible, it is loud, and not made well, prone to bending ect ect. I bought this kit right after i bought my Prostock (early '06 I'd guess) and i picked it up used. Perfect shape, 5 barrel backs, all black to match (IMO) any gun out there. I'm one who thinks that black will go with anything...I do not need a barrel to match the gun color, so color in my eyes is a strong point. This kit is quite good especially for the price. Yes it may be loud but I don't care. The people I play with all have 1 barrel or some dinky little kit...and when I bust mine out I always here "Man I need to get me a kit," "Dude, I like that Pipe case, I'm gonna get one!" So I guess enough rambling and I will end my review.
Great barrel for the price and I freakin' love this thing!!

One big problem I found was it made my markers a little loud.
Another problem was, the very end of the barrel tip, was rather thin, and dented easily.
The faded tips aren't the best looking either, but the solid tip looks alright.
The lack of colour options makes it a little hard to match your marker.
I'd give this barrel kit a B- over all.
Wouldn't buy it again, on account of the loudness, and the tip being a little thin at the end.

I'd recommend a good 2 piece barrel rather than this kit.
