Dye Lock Lid Pod

Pros:

Large: Holds more paint. (20-30 more)

Grip Bubbles
: Allows you to keep a better hold on the paint.

Cons:

Locking system: These pods tend to just "pop" open. This gets annoying and expensive fast.

Large: These pods are bigger then most, this can cause trouble with the pod fitting into packs.

Pros: Fast Opening - Looks
Cons: Breaks - Size - Price
Looks - Appearance
I think it looks alright, kinda weird with the little bubble like things around it. Comes in plenty of colors to so thats good.

Size - Appearance
It is bigger than most standard pods so it might not fit in a couple of packs. It fits fine in mine but some of my old ones have trouble getting it in.

Mechanism - Performance
It is a pretty good idea on how to open this and it works well for a while but it isnt very reliable. It is quicker than normal pods in some cases but not worth it.

Faults - Reliability
Although the design is smart, it isnt very reliable. After a while of use it will wear down and the lid will start to pop open randomly and it becomes very annoying and expensive losing so much paint.

Bang4Buck - Value
For how much they cost, not really worth it. Go ahead and buy some or steal some old ones off the field to see how you like it. They arnt the worst but far from the best.

Disclaimer - Please Read
I take time on my reviews to make them honest and non-bias as possible, on most occasions I will spell check them and revise to. Pros: Large capacity, Sturdy design, Stay shut.
Cons: Harder to fit in some Packs, Somewhat expensive
I have been using these for a few years now and I must say they are one of my better investments. They hold a little more then your regular pod which comes in handy when you need to fill your hopper right up. They also have a very nifty latch system which keeps them very secure untill you need to open them. When the time comes, all that is needed is a small pull down on the button and they spring right open. I cant immagine how much paint money this has saved me where pods would have normally dumped open, these stay tight.

The only real cons I have found is the fact that they are a little pricier then normal pods, but they are so worth it. Also they sometimes go into packs a little tight due to the bubbles on the outside, but after a few uses the packs stretch to accomodate them.

Pros: Locks paint in place, holds more than 140
Cons: N/A
These are the greatest things in pod technology since the advent of 140 round tubes instead of 100 rounders.

They have a lid that latches shut - flick it with your thumb and it pops open.

They'll pop open if they drop on a hard surface from 3-4 feet... which is pretty high. The latch on some pods will break after a lot of use, rain, and getting shot.

You can get them for as cheap as regular 140 rounds... or close to it - and you'll go back on the field when you drop on of these beauties.

Pros: locking
Cons: break
Hello,

Dye precision locklid 160 round pods are amazing. These have more round capacity then normal and cost around the same. They wont pop open unless you want them to, so dont worry about them opening when you slide into that bunker. I recomend you dish your other pods and get these, in the long run youll save more money. Youll do this because you wont accidently open a pod and dump all thta paint.

The only con about these pods are they evintially break after wear. Other pods last a long time, these pods last a couple months. So you might be disapointed with that. Overall I give these pods a A- because they will break eventially.

Cons: Hard to open when really used.
They look really cool and have bumps on them.

They perform well, they don't tend to break easily but does get hard to open them after they are extremely used. Best used with Dye Attack Pack because they don't always fit in other pod packs, or they fit but are a pain getting out on the field.

They are extremely easy to grip when your hands are wet or covered in paint. Don't open when hit hard or during slides. Only open when you hit the latch.

They are very nice for their value and are great price-wise.

Great pods, I would use them over most pods.
