one thing i noticed was that with this bolt, it made my gun way quieter. that's not that important to some but it's still cool.
you can also get your dwell WAY low with this bolt. Mine's at 13 right now.
only problem i had with this thing was the installation, but i had no knowledge about ion bolts and disassembly of the gun so it's easy now.
one thing- it needs to be lubed often.
i give it a 5 out of 5. this thing is AMAZING and i recommend it to any ion owner. don't go for any other bolt because this one is the lightest, the fastest, and greatest.

okay, first off this bolt was easy as pie to install. i just lubed it up, slapped it in, and started firin paint out of it. ive heard you should only use certain types of grease on the L7.. i used stock Dye lube that came with my friend's DM7. this bolt lowered my dwell and made me shoot a lot more consistantly. i really am glad with this purchase and it is the best bolt you can buy for your Ion.....hands down

Overall its an amazing bolt. You'll definitely notice the difference over any bolt. You may be looking at the bolt saying that it's a bit pricey, but once you get it you'll know how great it is. I would recommend this over any of the other bolts.

The L7 bolt for the Ion is a great bolt ~ light, really cool design, shoots like my Firebolt. Only con to me was the installation is not as easy as a normal Ion bolt ~ but the installation is still easy. Got it as a gift and I already had a firebolt. If I were buying one or the other I'd choose the L7 first.
