Pros: Reliable, Fast, Board, Looks
Cons: Weight, Trigger Frame
Used this for the first time a while back and was very impressed. My friend let me use his and I thought it was a very fast Gun. His was all stock, still very nice...think one of the best things about these is all that's necessary is a barrel upgrade and maybe a trigger of your choice, UL frame as well. All in all the stock trigger and barrel are still decent. This is just a trim DM5 that's a little lighter, and it's heavier than 07 and up guns but for it's time a very nice gun. Still can roll with new guns today, buddy has one and it's never broke, board is highly programmable, comfy gun that's just a little heavier than some but gets the job done. Rips right outta the box, so don't feel like you need to buy one that's extremely upped or anything I feel like the only two necessary ups to play tournis with this are barrel and trigger, but some might wanna swap out the board too that could be a reasonable up... and the UL frame is a must for tourni players today though...

Solid gun, Looks pretty good, Easy to use, and gets the job done. A+
-for those who consider picking one up today I would look for one that's got a UL frame and barrel with a nice trigger...that's it!

Pros: Quiet, fast, accurate, smooth
Cons: Heavy, maintenance heavy
One of the best markers I've ever shot. It's extremely smooth, quiet, and shoots ball on ball. It's a tad on the heavy side when compared to modern markers, and it can be slightly temperamental, but as far as the feel when you shoot, it's one of the best markers I've ever owned. It also can take a beating as long as you take care of it after every day of shooting (take it apart and clean / lube it). I use it as a backup for my Etek and Axe, and also will use it if I want something quiet and ninja-like. Seriously, you can barely hear the thing if you have it sweet-spotted.

Dye Precision Dye Matrix Composite (DMC) Only bad thing about this marker is the on/off valve. I have used it several times and it shreds some interior o rings causing the gun to stop working.

Dye Precision Dye Matrix Composite (DMC) Great gun, although it's just a sexier DM5. Same exact gun, just a little lighter.

Traded a for one of these years back and while it shot wonderfully it was heavy and looked cheap because of the composite parts.

Other than those few things it shot like any other DM (wonderfully) and at this point in time would be a great gun for someone playing rec or woods ball

Pros: You can get these for a great deal now days
Cons: The look is not for everyone
I just picked up one of these with a UL frame for cheap and I am in love with it. This is honestly one of the best valued guns around. They shoot straighter and smoother (especially with an Orange SAM bolt) than new markers, the parts are pretty cheap to hotrod it out and really blow the pants off a new gun, and it is fun to show up at the field when kids are scratching their heads at what you just shot them with. It is ironic that this was an incredibly overpriced gun when it came out, but oh how things have come full circle!
