I bought a custom frame for it, had it re-annoed, and did all sorts of mods to it. Sad part, I sold it for practically nothing. Resale on these guys isn't very high, but right out of the box they shoot great!
Replacement parts are a huge pain to find though, be warned.

this was my first high end market. i bought this gun in 2001 and had it til about 2003. it was a C&C chrome lcd angel. the gun shot fast, pretty accurate and was a great looker. the downfall being it was pretty gas hungry, and when things went wrong, they went pretty wrong. since it was such a hi pressure gun, it was very loud as well. the gun also did not have any sort of eye system, since they hadnt been invented yet. as a collectible, or something fun to pull out every now and then, these are great. but if your looking for a gun to compete with in todays age, you should look elsewhere. parts are impossible to find and wdp shut down production somewhat recently. theangelguy.com was the last place i knew of for you to find parts, but im not sure they are still in business either.

I shot a Dark Angel LCD (hence my screen name) and when I owned it, it was a great beginners marker. It shot great and after I had the Predator guys put eyes and their board in it, it shot ridiculously fast, I got checked multiple times for ramping, but I was just shooting semi-auto. If you get the Planet Eclipse frame and an aftermarket board and eyes for this gun, you will be a happy camper.

Got this as a backup and ended up keeping it for years. Gun always shot, always worked, everything. Never once broke (aside from a dead NiMH battery). Gun was loud and had some kick, but its an older model. Despite the fact the microswitch and trigger combination were good, I couldnt ever get over 11BPS on the marker. All modes but one were locked to US owners, so no PSP, NXL, Millenium or other modes available. Still a tank of a marker!

I had an LCD several years back and man was it a cool gun. It was pretty large but back then, most setups were huge anyway. The gun didn't have eyes, but luckily it came with an intelli-feed revvy and a soft face bolt (I got it used). I had no problems with chopping at all. The gun was meh on air but with self-serve it isn't a problem. It is to this day one of my favorite guns I've owned, probably the coolest oldschool gun I've had except for maybe my classic timmy. The board has tons of features and a nice LCD screen. They're pretty loud and there is some kick, but the weight of the gun helps stifle the kick (if that makes any sense?) so you don't feel much. I'd reccomend a collector pick up a nice PL LCD if they're interested.
