This was my first ever marker. Right off the bat I realized that the barrel sucked. I got a new barrel and the accuracy was dramatically improved. The following upgrades on my marker are, 32 Degrees Nightstick, Anti-Chop bolt, e-trigger, Halo B and Custom products flame drop forward. I highly recommend this marker to any one just starting to play paintball. Kingman is very helpful when you have problems or have a question.

The stock barrel is decent, but is better upgraded. The bolt is very easy to remove in game and makes it easier to fix breaks. It's durable and will last until your next marker. Like all spyders they've kept the same parts and made the body look better and more appealing, so it's easy to upgrade. There are no complex parts for this marker or any other spyder gun. I bought it because it was cheap and I'll be using it for a while. I play a few times a year so I don't really need a better gun. I'll just have upgrades.

i bought a sonix pro a little over a year ago when they came out and it was my first gun and came with the mask, a gravity, and a tank. It is a very good starter gun- definitely recommending it to anyone over a tippy. runs on air or C02, and hasn't ever chopped on me. So overall, a great starter gun. The only thing about it that people might not like is that it isn't made/designed to get a high bps.

Pros:
Reliable- The Spyder Sonix is a very reliable gun.
Price- The Sonix is a very cheap marker (Price wise)

Cons:
Trigger- The Sonix is mechanical, so the trigger is a VERY hard pull.
Loud- The sonix is a very loud gun. A new barrel is a must.
Feedneck- The feedneck is not a clamping one. You cant really expect much since its a begginer gun.
Conclusion:
The Sonix is a great begginer gun. It has the reliablilty that all the first time players want. I would really reccomend getting this as a first gun, but as you get more experienced, you should move on to a better gun.
Overall. The Sonix is a great begginer gun.

Kingman Group Spyder SonixAppearance: Odd looking... It's just my personal opinion but it's just ugly.
Performance: Works pretty well and does what it needs to do, accurate to.
Reliability:
Value: Pretty cheap...
but otherwise its all good 
and has a crappy double trigger
