This was my first hpa tank and it's still going strong (although no longer my main tank). Recharge rate must be quick enough because i never notice any shootdown or other problems because of it. Reg itself is a little long compared to newer tank regs but that's usually just an aesthetic concern.

This company has been around since the beginning and is still around for a very good reason. Their air systems ARE the standard coupled with excellent customer service.
THE REG
It is the most consistent reg out over CP, PMI, Ninja, and the Myth. There is a noticeable difference between regs maintaining +/- 5 fps at strings of fire.
What I love most about the reg is it can be wrenched off because the Base is Hexed. The most commonly asked question is how do I get my tank reg off for Airport Travel. Well, this can be wrenched with some muscle.
Yes, it weighs more and is longer than most regs out. It actually weighs twice as much as the MYTH (about .2 lbs more for a Total of .42 lbs), but it is made out of an extremely durable metal and will last your paintball career.
The length is about an inch more than any other tank, but this is off set by the new Crossfire tanks with a shorter stem where the reg screws in.
The gauge is easy to read and has never bothered me while playing.
Dual burst disk. Yes, this is pretty much standard on any reg minus the Myth 1. It is for safety.
THE TANK
Crossfire now makes their tanks in house (since 2007 I believe). This allows them to control the design of their product. The result is a tank lighter than INCOM (CP), LUXER, Ninja, and GA. Yes, I have weighed it against several competitor tanks. The length and shape fits my 5'6" frame as much as it does a 6ft player.
OVERALL
This tank is Legendary used by many PRo Players before sponsorship. I saw Ollie had this tank on his DM9 just recently. Look at the higher Division of D1-D2, most of them use Crossy. This is definitely the best tank to get if you are big on performance and taller than 5'4". If you are 14 or younger, I highly recommend the GA tanks even though they are not as consistent. Their customer service is great if something so happens. The Crossy will last you forever and not let you down.
HP OR LP
The best answer is HP. They fit 90% of the guns out. The exception is Angels. HP has the best flow rate and does NOT wear your reg out more over LP as the misconception floating around states.

I got this tank as a replacement for my 45/4500 pmi and im glad i did. When i first got it i realized how good it did on air, and how quickly it filled. It also looks really nice even without a tank cover . But, what i paid for it was a little bit expensive, im also in canada so that may have something to do with it. Overall though, im very happy i bought this tank and it was money well spent.
