For the short amount of time i've used this kit, I absolutely love it. The length of the backs make a real noticeable difference in accuracy and distance. Plus the milling is very intricate when you're close enough to see it! The only things I didn't like were the large bore sizes. it seems like paint is getting smaller instead of larger (except the empire 250 cal ). also, lack of color choices was very surprising.

Very impressed by this barrel. Bought it used and I got one back with 3 tips (I think .687, .690, .693). Tight groups at ~30 yards, great accuracy. Also durable, I've had more than my share of rough slides.
Overall great, only drawback is that it only comes in gloss black, however that is what i wanted anyway so no big deal.

I got the Redz Pepperstick kit, Autococker thread, a while back.. It was first made popular by the New England Hurricanes and then idk who else.. But it has the longest back in the industry, 8", and it comes with 2 different tips: 14" and a 16". I have never really used the 16" tip much, but when I put it on there, it made it look like a sniper rifle! I've noticed that you do lose a lot of velocity on the 16" tip. But it just depends on the paint and weather conditions, and if you're playing back or front. Sometimes I've had brittle paint and it jammed up my barrel, since I play front, I took the tip off and just shot with the back, of course accuracy was more limited, but it worked great!
Bottom line, there are a TON of different barrels out there: Stiffi, Boomstick, Freaks, etc... But I say go with the Pepperstick kit, it's relatively inexpensive, and you get more than your bang for your buck.

Redz makes very nice products but there peperstick barrel is AMAZING! This barrel is one of my favorites. I own the Kit so I have the 4 backs and 2 tips and they perform EXTREMELY well. There very light, come with 8 inch backs so the bore is 8 inches long which gives you a very strait and accurate shot, they are potbelly the quietest barrel I have used, and are very durable. Over all I would give them a 5 of 5!

Versatile barrel kit, 4 standard bore sizes for backs and 2 barrels for length (14" and 16") Construction - kit bag is one of the most durable ones I've seen; backs & barrels are rugged and take a beating (within reason) Price - can't be beat for what you get for your money (it's like having 8 different barrels: 4 barrels @ 14" + 4 barrels @ 16" - do the math, and that's $12.50 per barrel); brand new, it's still "affordable" at $18 per barrel. Accuracy - as good as, or better, than some high-end single barrels (including carbon fibers)
I haven't really listened closely to the Redz barrels compared to my carbon fibers to see if there's a marked difference, but they are much quieter than the stock Mini barrel.
Recommendation - I had not seen these in production in a while, so finding a used kit on eBay at the time was a huge score for me. I just checked eBay to see if any kits were being auctioned off, but I only found the single-barrel 2-piece kits.
Redz is producing the kits again, but the price has gone up about $20-$25 since last year when I saw them for $120 brand new. Also, the kits only come in gloss black and Autococker threading (hello, Lapco!).

Got my autococker threaded pepperstick with the purchase of a gun. The pepperstick is a nice kit that shoots good, fairly quiet, and decent looks.
I found the anno on the barrel to chip/scratch very easy - hence the 4/5. The appearance is good as well, not as nice looking as a stiffi, deadlywinds or even kaner kit, but it's plesent on the eyes. Performance was good but without having a small bore back I don't get to use it that much so it gets left at home alot. Price on the peppersticks is nice used but honestly if I were buying I'd look for something with a smaller back bore as most of the paint I shoot is tourny grade which are typically .682-.684.

I used my pepperstix kit for a couple years now, over all I like them a lot, but they only get a 3 stars for performance because the smallest bore is a 687 and I havent been able to use the kit for over a year now with paint shrinking so much. As far as barrels go its on the quieter side, it has nice porting and chili peppers milled into the side of the barrel, and comes with a nice case. What I dont like is that it only comes in black and what I said earlier about only having bigger bores.
