Appearance: These barrels have a sweet design with the Redz Chili Peppers Logo milled into the barrel. The only con here (why the kit doesn't get the fifth star) is that the only color available is gloss black, which personally is not a big deal but to some it may be.
Performance: This is not the most accurate barrel kit on the market, or the lightest. However, at its price it cannot be beat, as it still is very accurate and lighter then lower priced barrels. A smaller bore size(s), would be nice to accommodate the small paint sizes of today's paint.
Reliability: These barrels are very reliable and must really be beat up in order to scratch/damage. They come in a very small padded case which is great as this case can be thrown straight in your gear bag so you don't have to worry about your gear banging up against your barrels.
Value: As stated above this is the best barrel kit in my mind at this price.
I would definitely recommend this barrel kit to anyone looking to upgrade their barrel without paying an arm and a leg.

I got my barrel kit used from a player at a national event for $75. It comes in a nice barrel bag that is very soft on the inside but durable on the outside. It even has a place for your swab. The barrels themselves only come in black unless you bought a Redz Ego or Hurricanes Sl8r. Very nice polished finished to them with a unique chili pepper porting pattern at the end.
Accuracy:
Redz claims the longer back of the barrel gives the ball more stability before reaching the front portion. I did notice a longer straight shot when using the 14" with less tendencies for the ball to curve at the end of flight, which is important for laning off break. I didn't notice an increased distance or accuracy with the 16" front over the 14" .. matching paint to bore is important for accuracy but I ALWAYS wear a tall tee & overbore everything!
Performance:
Not many barrel breaks using cases of Severe Tempest, DXS silver, RPS premium ... In fact, maybe one ball broke per 4 cases in the barrel. It shoots somewhat clean depending on how bad the break is but Squeegee is necessary for across the field shots. I'm not too big on the whole paint to bore match .. The surface the ball is riding on determines how stable it will be when leaving the barrel .. so as said before shoots straighter than most barrels I have used.
Reliability:
The finish seems too still be nice even at the tip (miracle for front player). Inside isn't scratched easily from Swabbing unlike other barrel backs.
Overall:
For the prices you can buy these at, IMHO it is the best barrel out there for superior performance, quality, and increased efficiency (pod more per tank) .. I HATE the fact they only come in black .. and personally don't like the chili pepper symbol at the tip .. makes me crave Baby Back Ribs in the middle of a game. Redz Pepperstix are often overlooked, but really are high end barrels to be seriously considered.

I ordered the full kit on Ebay for 110 shipped. It was here in two days so I was impressed with the seller.
I came from using a ti boomstick, full freak, to a three bore scepter to this, over the course of several years. I have to say the pepperstick is about the most convenient of the kits Ive ever used. Well packed in its PLUSH case, MUCH nicer than the plastic and foam freak case and BY FAR nicer than the nylon BAG my scepter came in. Much more durable than either as well since I don't have to worry about denting or bending the bores, which I have.
I shot it on an untuned mini and a pmr. The mini was breaking chronic in the barrel every four or five shots so I switched over to the rail. When I shot the chronic on the rail with the pepperstick I was blown away. It was point and click. Tight groupings across the field. Nine out of ten shots at a telephone pole size net post from the length of the field hit dead home and the one birdy still busted on the edge. To say I was impressed should go without saying.
The sound signature didn't really stand out to me but then again, I wasn't really pay attention.
The ONLY issues I have were the lack of orings and the small blem I found on one of the bores.. I actually HAVE orings that fit and heres why I think it needs them, the tip or the back might vibrate loose. Ive seen and experienced it before. The one bore with the blemish seems like it might be a quality issue and Im sure I could get it replaced if I wanted to, but Im looking at possibly getting them reannoned along with my gun in the near future so its not much of a concern. But I would still liked to have had a blem free one. Still, Ive come across belms on many barrels and guns in the past. DMs with poracity in the body. Shockers with weak anno. Mismatched colors.

pros - Decent assortment of barrel size backs,can't go wrong unless your
paint is really small bore even then you'll be fine it's better to
over-bore then under-bore and 2 tips for you to chose from.
No real problems with clearing breaks,doesn't exactly "self-clean"
per say but a few shots threw after and you should be good to go
and quick swab as well. A straight shot would be better but not always
practical.
For looks it has nice milling imo
the backs have Redz and chili peppers milled into it
The fronts have straight porting except for the very tip where it's
been milled with a chili peppers with porting going through the design
Engraved clearly on the backs is the control bore size
Sound not as quiet as UL's or Stiffi's imo but will help reduce the
sound if that matters to you.
The case that it comes with is very nice everything fits snug
in a tight sleeve for each back and front with a padding in between
the two holding area so they will not smack against each other.
the outside is very well padded and is opened/closed via a zipper.
Cons
Comes in black only if that matters to ya
the barrel swab that it comes with isn't very good,it will fall apart
quickly and leave small red fibers in your barrel and porting (did
not use it in the Stiffi of course)
Finally as you should know a good paint to bore match helps alot
and a well tuned gun/marker (whatever ya want to call it) will
help give you a more consistent shot and a good barrel kit,which is
most of them can only improve like this one

Appearance - Well you look at the barrel and you are think 'okay what's so special?' Then after closer inspection you notice the great milling and awesome porting. The chilly peppers on the end porting on the tip of the barrel. The venting from this leaves the barrel quiet and deadly.
Performance - The gun accuracy it provides is great. It shoots straight and is titty shooting. I cannot think of more to say.
Reliability - Very reliable. When you have a break it takes less than 10 shots to shoot through it. The only reason I gave it a 4 is that during some intense games the barrel will begin to unscrew and fall off. However it is an easy fix.
Value - for 42$ a 2 piece barrel you cannot really beat it. When I put an astrick on the price as it is the price for two but I paid for a whole kit which is nother 46 dollars.

I bought a 16" two piece pepperstick from a friend for my ion to replace the stock barrel and am very glad I did. I like how it looks on the gun (my ion and pretty much any other gun it will work with) and the pepper designs on the side of it. It is pretty accurate and it is the only barrel i will have on a gun it will fit unless i find a better one.

This review is based on my friend's Redz Pepper Stickz for his back-up Ion. The barrel is sleek, and is good looking. Its accurate and is durable to scratching. When I said affordable, I was basing that on the standard 2-piece barrel. NOT THE KIT! Its also quiet. Lowest bore size is .687, and only comes in black.
Overall - Decent barrel. Never failed me (my friend).

I like how the backs are 8in makes it work really good. Great overall barrel. If u need a good barrel and are on a low budget this is the perfect barrel.
