I bought this gun used in 100% working condition and I can say I got it for a steal price. The gun itself was beat up but the internals were flawless. Kept it lubed and clean and it shot like it was brand new. With a stiffi on it, easily ball on ball accuracy. Let's say people at the field were jealous.

Ok, after a lot of B/S/T and gun trying....I HAVE FOUND THE GUN to keep! This is my ninth gun, so lemme let you know what I've owned and shot to let you know what Im comparing from:
-Tippy 98(doesn't really count) -PMR upped -Dm6 -Pm8 -Protege -Mikko Huttunen's Personal Pm8(shot amazing) -Ego 08 -Droid
SO
First lemme give you the itty-bitty bad.....
Availability and REslae Value. That being said, let's move on.......

SO, this gun was shot yesterday, and used today in mad scenario stuff and I will give you categorial Thoughts:
-EFFICIENCY: I got 1200-1300 off a 3900 Psi Fill on my 48/45k. THAT IS Amazing Effiency for me, similar to my PRotege! I don't have the Proficiency Kit either!
-ACCURACY: Same as most High-ends. Ball on Ball.
-Kick: MINE HAS NONE! Literally less than my Droid and same as the Mikko Pm8!
-Sound: QUIETER Than the Droid and the Pm8s! Even quieter than the Dm6!!!
-Feel: Felt extremely balanced, and good weight. No Ego8, but definitely similar to the PRotege and PM8. Lighter than the Droid, to me.
-LOOKS: I think this is the best looking Marq other than the Victory and Closers. It is streamlined and sexy.
ALL IN ALL:
I am keeping this gun! It is the bomb!

Bob Long Technologies Marq 7 Coach had one of these guns for a back up at events and practice. Never really chopped any paint at all. Only con would be its weight. A bit heavier than other guns now a days.

Pros: Feedneck, Feel, easy bolt.
Cons: Bouncy Trigger, ASA, Eye Covers, FBDO
Okay so there will be 3 parts of this review, iiiiiii, iiiiiiiiiii, iiiiiiiii. Before i say anything. If you are complaining and Bi*ching about 'FBDO', (First Ball drop off) then read the manual. It clearly states ( I have the Tadao M8 Board ) in the Programing section: Green-Debounce, etc etc etc etc, RED- ABS Dwell. ABS is Anti Bolt Stick. The DEFAULT setting is '1' which is OFF! Set it to '10' and the solenoid will stay open for 10 more MS. Causing the bolt to drive out HARD.

Okay lets begin this.

Appearance

This gun is beautiful. Unfortunatly i have a gloss black one, and i hate my guns gloss black. Cant really see the milling to well because of the glares and stuff. If you feel the body it is smooth and wavy. The milling goes into the eye covers as well and makes it looks very nice.

Handling (field play)

This gun on the field is not that bad. For i high end gun i believe it should have came with better parts. Personally i fell as if Bob cheaped out on some of his products. The FBDO and the bouncy trigger is a tinker to get used to. Also i find mine to be a little more inconsistent. Not noticeable on the field but over the chronograph it was +/-7 at most. Also have the Dye Hyper 3 and using High Pressure. The gun is a little heavy and 'recoily' as well. Coming in at 2.4 pounds (including battery, dye hyper3, and old CP asa) it is a little bit heavier. I have not tuned this marker in anyway other than converting the board to PSP ramping and switching the BPS to 12.5.

Maintence

The bolt in the gun is easy to take out. You take the one screw out and push it out the back. SO EASY A CAVEMAN COULD DO IT! The one thing i found difficult was the frame. Taking the frame on and off could be a hassle. It is not a 'direct mount' frame, you have to slide it on into place then screw it together. Though you most likely wont need to do this unless there is a trigger issue..

Here are a few photo's describing the basic bolt assembly.

Unscrew this screw, not the top one. That moves the bolt up and down the breach

Push out the back with squeege or other

http://i46.tinypic.com/2lc4hgz.jpg

This is what the full assembly should look like

Unscrew the Can

http://i49.tinypic.com/34pgo53.jpg

Can easily slide the piston and spring out of the rod

Everything dismantled

Conclusion

Okay so i love my Marq7 so much that im on the Marq hunt. I want them from 6's to RL's. From most common to most rare. I rate this gun (my gun) a 8/10. Only because of the minor, MINOR flaws i have received. I hope you took part in reading this review and use it to youre own advantage. Good luck to all Marq owners!!
