Pros: Low Profile, rip drive, modable.
Cons: Ball capacity, heavy, shells
Bought mine used on the nation for $55. Feeds about 22bps, plenty fast for me cause I play psp capped at 15bps. Nice low profile, rip drive is great when the batteries die or the halo jams (I haven't had a jam yet though). Its a little heavy because you have to use 6AA batteries, but a 9volt mod can bring the weight down. Also there is like a gajillions of mods and aftermarket products for the halo. The feednecks on stock shells tend to snap, especially if you're a snake player, and the battery door might crack from harder slams.

Pros: Rip drive, Nice shape, keeps up with most markers
Cons: eyes easily dirty, no anti-jam
I bought my Halo bout a yr ago. I like the sleek look and the fast feed. When a ball breaks it's difficult for the loader to read the balls and it doesn't work. Cleaning the eyes and the hopper is a task. You have to take the whole hopper apart. There is no anti-jam mode. The led flashes red to green several times to let you know it's messed up then you have to reset manually. The neck is weak! Its has cracked several times. I've replaced the shell 4 or 5 times this yr but never replaced the cradle which is broken at the neck but still feeds because the shell neck is good.

Pros: Nice Looking and Fast
Cons: Heavy and Battery Life
Bought a used one for 30 dollars on the Nation.. Great deal. Got it about a year ago and its worked perfect ever since. I Put on a speedfeed, rip drive, and drive cone and everything has been great. The shells had to be replaced just because the old ones got too scratched up. I put a sledge hammer to the old ones on the drive way. I honestly tryed to break them and had to give up because they just wouldnt break. So they are very strong except some of the thiner plastic inside the loader.

Overall: Its a great hopper that does the job. You may have to buy a few batterys before you play but its worth it.

Pros: This set the bar that other hoppers are compared
Cons: See below...
Pros: This hopper set the standard that all following hoppers are compared to. It's fast (with new batteries, I was able to feed 19 bps on my gun). It has a relatively good profile. I think it looks damn good as well.

Cons: The shell can break if it's abused; which let's face it, as paintballers, we abuse our equipment. Things that have broken on me and friends have been the feednecks, the battery door, and a few places on the body of the shell. The feedneck was caused by user-error (I over-tightened my feedneck), but the others occured during normal play. Replacement shells are relavtively expensive as well, and I have seen motors wear out and boards fry in Halo's, though they haven't happened to me.
Edit: I forgot, taking it apart is a huge pain. The best way to go about it is a power drill and patience. There used to be hybrid shells for the halo where the screws were placed verticly instead of horizontally and is a lot easier to tak apart. I don't know what else to say besides don't break it.

Overall, I'd say it's a good buy but I would consider some of the newer hoppers that are out there.
