I have been using my Chris Lasoya 2K2 Intimidator for almost five years now. Since then it has gone through many upgrades and it is still my primary marker today. It has no trouble keeping up with any other guns on the field. To keep this gun updated with advancements and to reduce the weight it has gone through several upgrades:
2K5 critical frame
M6 Tadao Infamous board
Critical Trigger
Eigen ram
Shocktech Superfly bolt
CP Regulator
Adjustable Ram cap
Using a stock 2K2 is no longer able to keep up with todays guns but with these upgrades it is still throwing ropes and works fantastically. Requires minimum maintenance, just some lube on the LPR every so often and make sure the ram is clean and lubed every few cases or so. This gun has a very comfortable feel to it as well. May take a few cases to break in a brand new one but once you know how to dial in the LPR and velocity, which is very easy, then using and teching this gun is a snap.
Some of the cons are the weight as guns have gotten lighter, though this is not a major obstacle because it is not too significant. Also the consistency is not fantastic as I get around +/- 5-6 fps which is a bit more then I would like. Although the consistency does improve with higher quality paint and I haven't noticed the inconsistency affects its performance on the field. And again it is a bit bulky when compared to todays guns but with either an alias or critical frame this greatly improves the guns looks, weight, size and feel.
I highly recommend this gun, though, would advise getting an alias or 2K5 since it has some improvements over this model (smaller frame, increased LPR performance, etc.). However, with an upgraded frame there is no reason why this gun should not perform just as well as any 2K5 out there. These can be had for super cheap and are probably one of the best values on the market today with most upgrades being very cheap as well.

I traded my shocker for a 2k2 and I thought I made the better choice. My Timmy has been very efficient, has yet to break down on me since I have had it since 2005. Another thing is how unique you can make each one with all of the after market parts and accessories.
Compared to todays standards, the 2k2 is obsolete now, as markers each keep getting smaller and smaller, which is the only real negative thing about it. Yes, it is bigger and heavier compared to today's standard markers, but I personally don't mind it.
Overall, I am happy with the marker and would recommend it to other people.

I've owned 7 Intimidators and I must say, the 2k2 models still impress me today. They have a little kick, but they perform amazingly. There are an abundance of available parts, they are extremely cheap (they go for about $125-$200 as of early '08). They're a little bulky, but a 6 year old marker that can compete with anything on the market is extremely impressive. They don't weigh much, they look great and they're fairly reliable. They're pretty easy to work on as well, maintenance is simple. Great markers

I got this gun about a year ago. This gun was a paint ripping machine. Its fast and accurate, i maybe only chopped about a dozen paintballs (bad paint and bad weather). It was always reliable. I got a DM4 last year to. That gun ended going down in a tourny, so i pulled out the timmy and played all day with out problems. It is air efficient. I made the mistake of getting rid of it. I wish i kept it do to its reliability and performance.

From when this game came out until about 2004 it was all I would shoot, I had a few of these that I customized. You could easily compete with one of these today as long as your board has the right modes. The clamshell screws can get stripped, and the feednecks occasionally break off but if you pick one of these up used for cheap you will not regret it. Also customizable to your liking
