The Ripper 1 Intimidator was the first of a new generation of custom ultra high end paintball markers. Only 250 were ever made, and over time many bodies have been ruined, discarded and just plain lost.
The markers were based off of Bob Longs Classic Intimidator platform, and were designed and produced by Jim Eaton, who also designed all the other ripper markers since then (Ripper 2+, Ripper Angel, etc).
Since these markers are now collectors items, it is rare to see one still with the original parts on it. Most have been upgraded and made over with the latest and greatest parts on the market, keeping them modern.
If you get the opportunity to pick up a Ripper 1, get it while you can. With so few left around, they are getting harder and harder to find.

I have had this gun for more than three years. It out lasted my nitroduck tuff skin and my halo B. I use it as often as possible and it is still a beutiful gun. Although it is a little heavy, I would take it over many of these new 2000$ guns.
