Diablo - Heat Reviews
Diablo Heat Could be better, but excellent for rec play as well as practice. It can get a little crappy in the cold months; but shoots great in season.

Pros: Cheap, few barrel breaks
Cons: NEVER SHOOT IN WINTER, Accuracy, semi-hard shell
I shot two cases of these recently at a local range and was fairly impressed that this was one of their "worst" paints. I have purchased another case for rec-balling at home because of the price and semi-hard shell. When I was at the range the accuracy was not amazing but definitely good enough to keep up with most of the players on the field. I had a couple of people complain that my "marker" hurt them... I chronographed my 09 Proto Slg ul at 251 to 253 fpb(300fps max)... then cranked it up to 280 to 283... they didn't complain when the figured out it was just a hard paint and not my marker. The paint wasn't hard enough to bounce off of players when hit, but it did sting noticeably more than the higher grade paints... I know its all part of paintball... but I don't shoot at the local ranges to aggravate and offend people. Next time I go to the range I will shoot better paint, but for my once a month games at my personal course, they already get free paint... so they don't whine when it stings a little. Just remember never to try to shoot this paint in the winter, you will end up shooting three balls and then spraying paintball "soup" untill you warm the paint. Used RPS Polar Ice and realized how a paint was suppose to shoot in the winter In conclusion, it is a amazing paint for the price... go with it for woodsball or rec-ball buget minded players If you are shooting at a range and can afford better paint, you will be more satisfied with Heat's better grades

Pros: Inexpensive, a notch above most rec paint
Cons: Not the most accurate
I've shot a few cases of Heat and liked it a lot.

Heat is the best paint at the rec level that I have found. The heat I've shot has been a bit on the large side, so keep that in mind if matching paint.

Some of the paint had some seam issues, but it was maybe 2 or 3 a bag, so it didn't bother me.

Good value for the money.
