Can be upgrade to 4c eyes which allow for faster ROF in Semi huge + to those who shoot semi only
Gun looks amazing. Milling is very stylish love it.
Internal engines as bob calls them. Can be upgrade to where you are getting about a case per fill.
Have stock engine then ugprade to PE then to SC being the best.
Regulator is one of my favorites i have a 360 reg on all my other guns. I think gives the best recharge rates and being most consistent.
Cons: Not macro less. But this gun was before a lot of companies started doing that.

Alright, the marq came out and was an amazing gun. They took that and made it lighter, with upgrade on it. Mine came with pillow, proficiency kit, and added to it by buying a Tadao OLED. It is very smooth and consistent. I have had it for a month now and it gets +/- 4 with a +/- 7 jump once in a while. When you by from bob long they give you the best customer service and quality gun. I have shot almost everything and prefer to shoot this over all of them. I have not had a problem yet and get 1600-1700 shots off of a 68/4500 crossfire. It is quieter then I thought it was going to be and is about the same with my Vice, which is a little louder then my Luxe. It is worth getting.

The Closer is by far my favorite High end marker that I have used. I have owned it since its release. The gun has had no major issues t. The main issue with these guns is air consumption. I sent the gun back to Blast to have the LPR adjusted and the settings basically returned to stock. One of the things about closers is that they are different. By Different I am refering to the INGEN design. The bolt system is unlike others on the market right now. This is the cause of most of the issues I have seen with these guns. Because the system is new, and some people are not fond of reading directions, many folks assume that they can "figure it out". And what starts out as a cleaning or lube, ends up with a rolled Oring in the INGEN and massive leaks, or, misaligned port holes in the body of the ingen. Once you figure out how to perform regular maintance on the closer or other marqs, it should be smooth sailing.

i have had my gold closer for awhile now.the effiency has gotten better that it is know broken in.i am getting close to 1700 on a 68/4500.the gun is light,easy to snapshoot,and will throw ropes of paint w/ ease.i have shot every high end gun out there.this is not as easy to maintain as lets say an ego, but imo the closer shoots a lot smoother.If your the baller that likes play and at the end of the day throw the gun in bag till next time this might not be the gun for you.i have had no problems w/ mine ever since i bought it and the only thing i do is take engine/bolt out and clean it and relube it.overall i am very happy w/ my closer. oh and i almost forgot,it comes w/ tadao and you really can't get any better than tadao.(WILL IS THE MAN)!!!!

This is probably my 3rd gun this year...I've essentially went on a gun-whoring rampage, and this may be the gun that finally curbs that appetite.
Over the last year I've shot a DM9 (brand new by only a few weeks from it's intial release last fall), and a Hurricanes SL74. Both were phenomenal to say the least, but I don't really know how to explain the first time I "experienced" the Closer.
The overall feel in your hands is just amazing. The gun has very smooth milling (albiet some rough finishing touches on the milling, but nothing I felt sick about). The overall balance is somewhere around midway inside of the trigger frame. The frame is very small, and feels very nice in hand. The main thing that impressed me the most was how natural it felt. The SL and the DM both felt a little awkward...and this is probably my own personal preference..the Closer just felt right.
Also I would like to comment on the excellent feedneck design. It is probably one of the best, if not the best in my opinion, out there right now. The "wedge" system works wonderfully! My favorite part about it though is how close it allows your loader to sit to the gun...it's just amazing! It almost feels like your loader is part of the gun, instead of a top heavy addition. Things get really crazy when you put a Prophecy on top...they're already really low-riding loaders to begin with, and on the Closer, I don't think there is anything out their to compare. I'm VERY impressed!!!
I finally got the gun to the field, and found out that things only got better once it was aired up and firing. The overall sound signature was very nice compared to my Ego's. It had more of a "puffing" sound, then the very crisp "popping" signature of the Ego's. It wasn't quite as quiet as some spoolers I've shot, but it was enough to impress me.
As for kick, this gun feels more like a DM or shocker to me then a poppit. Not that any gun I've shot thus far has been overkill with kick, but it was definitely noticable, especially after coming off of the SL74.
Combined with how the gun felt when handled the day of play was absolutly one of the best times I've had on the field in a long time. I just couldn't wait to shoulder the Closer again for another game. It was just fun to play with...and I can honestly say after owning, an Ebladed Cocker, a Karnivore, a Black Magic upgraded with an E2 and MQ valve, a nicely upgraded Ion, a DM5, DM6, Ego 7, DM9 and finally and SL74, that this gun takes the cake....it is the finest piece of paintball engineering I have ever had the privilage to experience so far. I am definitely sold on Bob Longs guns from now on.
I just cannot believe how positive this entire experience has been so far.
I will try and edit this review with some numbers from the field as I get more time to play with this incredible paintball gun. From initial impressions, I can safely say with the profeciency engine, I'm getting probably around 1500-1600 shots off of a full fill. Those numbers should improve as I break the gun in more. Also on the chrono I was seeing some mixed results, which could be a dirty inline. But as I said, I will try to edit this review as I go.
So if you're looking to buy a Closer, or a Bob Long gun in general, I would highly advise to do so as soon as possible. It's almost like some really well kept secret in my opinion, with all of the Dye, SP and PE guns hitting the fields anymore. I have nothing but positive things to say about the Closer, and I think you'll agree if you give one a try.

These guns are amazing and I am glad that i am an owner of one. They are super easy to maintain unless your one of the people that love to take your guns apart for no reason. The bolt assembly is very easy to clean and replace orings if ever a problem. If you dont touch the LPR/HPR then your gun will run smoothly.
I would suggest anyone thats skeptical on buying one to do it and not doubt yourself.
