This regulator is nearly identical to the CP regulator in every way, except for two things.
1) appearance. I really like the look of this regulator, from the logo to the way the bottom is tapered.
2) the shim stack inside has less shims than the CP.
Something i found interesting was that the threads are completely interchangable between these and CP's. so i was able to use the CP shimstack section with the empire top and bottom. By mixing the two I was able to get the feel I wanted with the performance of a CP at low velocities, and i could switch it to the Empire stack and get great consistency at high velocities.
The actual perfromance of the regulator was excellent though I found that at lower velocities (Reball 240) it had trouble maintaing consistency of recharge. presumably because of the shorter shimstack. HOWEVER the performance at (reball) 295 was enough that I could actually fine tune it to 298 without ever hitting 301. even after 100 shots everything fell between 300 and 297. which was better than the CP stack.
The guage ports were only sort of annoying. it does come with plugs.
