Pros: Smooth, Reliable
Cons: No SC or PE stock, Stock Trigger
So after owning my Marq 6 for two years, figured I should put my review up. Overall it is a great gun extremely reliable, simple to maintain and use overall.

Weight: Overall compared to newer guns it is on the heavy side, but is comparable to guns of the same age. The weight made it smooth though as I noticed that the lighter, same generation Marq definately did not shoot as smooth.

Noise: Once again compared to newer guns it is louder. But I would put it between the noise level of an Ego and DM series. Also barrel choice, I found my brother's ultralite was much quieter then my pepperstickz.

Efficiency: After break in of new orings and tuning, I was getting 9 1/2 pods of a 68/4500 filled to about 4000 psi. So I think it's pretty good especially compared to guns of its day. Granted it isn't a Vice or G6R but still good enough. Besides in Tournaments you should be filling up after every point.

Maintenance: Pretty straightforward, not as simple as a stack tubed poppit. Use Triflow on bolt orings, and dow 55 on all the other orings. I repeat use dow 55 not dow 33 or sleek etc. If BLAST says to use it then use it. I was relubing the engine about once a month or about 12 cases. Read the manual. Also a pressure tester is a must.

Electronics: The stock board was excellent in it's day but requires flashing, to be 12.5 compliant. Blast will do this service for I believe the cost of shipping, don't remember though. If you don't like LED programming it is OLED compatible.

The Cons: The stock trigger was in my opinion not a very good design, didn't feel right in my hands. So i installed a Critical trigger in it. Personal preference though. The stock engine, is pretty annoying to take apart as the bolt must be removed with a strap wrench because you must loctite it to the shaft so it doesn't come apart during use. Obviously a QD bolt would have fixed this.

Recommended Upgrades: New Trigger either VP or Critical. The proficiency engine and or the supercharger upgrade. 4C eyes if your a big semi guy, if you ramp no need for them. The upgrade feedneck to will make it easier to fit halo style hoppers.

Conclusion: All in for an 2006 gun it still holds up to guns of today. It was the first in a line of successful guns. This gun was so great I just recently traded it in and purchased a V2 victory because I love the Marq line so much. Great gun if your looking for a used high-end. Bob Long did the Marq line well.

This marker is a serious work horse. I have used it a lot and it has only had one problem occur, ever.

That one problem was my board died for some reason, it was the stock board. I replaced it and it works fine again.

I find the trigger on the Marq 6 is one of the best stock triggers on any marker that came out in 2006/2007. The gun shoots really well, it is quieter than a Ego, but louder than a DM.

The gripframe is relatively comfortable since it is so thin, not as good as a UL frame, but still really nice.

My final thoughts is that the marker feels really solid and well made. I feel like I could use it as a hammer and still have it shoot great afterwards (note: I have never used any of my markers as a hammer, this was just to express how well made the marker feels).

Pros: Beautiful milling, crazy efficient, fast, ACCURATE
Cons: A bit heavier than the newest guns out there
This is the best gun I have owned to date. Absolutely love it.

Appearance: This thing is absolutely beautiful IMO. The milling looks liquid. It flows so amazingly well from end to end. I don't know how bob does it, but his guns are ALWAYS the best looking. Nothing else is even close.

Performance: The thing shoots SO smooth and accurate. With the supercharger kit/proficiency engine, pressures are lowered a decent amount. Absolutely no kick at all, accuracy is just crazy (even on cross field shots you'll be having TIGHT groups), and it's pretty quiet as far as Bob's guns go. Also, with 4C eyes, ramping isn't even necessary. Ropes flow so smoothly with the 4C and semi, it'll blow your mind. It is also amazingly gentle on paint. with the pillow bolt and 4C eyes, you will probably never break a paintball in the entire time you own it. Went thru 2 cases the first time I played with this thing. It was under 15* outside all day and the heater for the indoor field got turned off half way thru the day (even with it on, we were playing in around 45 degrees). Not one chop inside the gun. You would have never even known i used it to play all day with. The last plus: amazing, amazing efficiency. I can usually go almost a case with it on my 72/45.

Reliability: Come on, it's a Bob Long marker. I have played with this gun for a decent amount of time, never had one issue. It's a marker that will never let you down and always perform at its peak. I also find maintenance to be quite simple, and there are not that many o-rings to worry about. The quick disconnect bolt helps make it even simpler. LPR is tough to get out, but maintaining it is a breeze once you do.

Value: For the price these are available at now, you're crazy to not have one in your gearbag. Absolutely crazy. Even if you only use it as a backup, you can rest assured it will air up and work 100% of the time. And I bet it'll outperform your main gun too

As with all other Bob long markers (which is the only brand I will even purchase anymore), this gun is an amazing performer. It is American made, and you can see the quality from top to bottom. I know that my Marq 6 will be in my gearbag for a very, very long time to come. Go to the B/S/T section right now and get your hands on one of these guns, I assure you it will be the best $300 you ever spent.
