Looks - Appearance
Dye provides this barrel in a very large variety of colors. It only comes in 12" and 14" though, which Dyes have a larger variety of lengths available. Basically any paint size you can get, the backs can get a match for it. These barrels are probably one of the most customizable possible since the colors can match almost any gun and the user can match the length and bore to there paint and playing style. I myself have a Red Proto Barrel with 12" tip with the .690 bore size which is the only size it comes in. The looks on this barrel are great and are basically the same as the Dye 2-Peice Ultralite. All things on this are interchangable with the Dye Barrels.
Accuracy - Performance
So far from this time I have shot White Box and Chronic through it, and they both went through perfectly. Both of these paints were .689 and the accuracy was good, which was to be expected after using the Dye Ultralite. I did however, chop with the Whitebox. Luckly, this barrel cleans out very well, and was shooting semi-straight after about 7 or 8 shots. After the match, a quick swab and it was shooting fine again.
Sound Signature - Performance
I have had barrels that were quieter but this is nothing to complain about. The porting is from the top to the bottom of the tip. It is just straight down porting with 4 columns and 14 holes in this 12" one. My All American tip has spiral porting and alot more of it so it of course, has a lower sound signature. Overall it is a pretty quiet barrel, not like it matters that much in the game. Atleast not in speedball.
Weight - Performance
This is a fairly light barrel, nothing to really complain about. Its not light as a Stiffi, Sly, Deadlywind, etc. but its not just raw stainless steeel. It keeps the balance of the gun in check unlike some carbon fiber barrels I have had which makes it a little back heavy.
Durable - Reliability
This thing wont just snap in half unless you have a defective one or take a pretty bad dive. Im sure if that does end up happening Dye will get you another one for free or discounted maybe. The anno on this so far seems to be good, I have bumped it a couple times and no visible scratchs. Only thing with it, along with mostly any other annodized barrel, is that it is fading on the tip a little bit. I wont complain since this is bound to happen with almost any that you buy.
Bang4Buck - Value
I got this for free from a team mate so I dont know the used value of an average one is. The MSRP for this straight off the website is $60 which I think is a rip off but to each there own. The only other barrel that is basically the same as this is the Dye Ultralite. If you can afford the Dye Ultralite instead and would like people to think your cool for a few extra seconds, then go ahead and get that, but if you want the same performance for a lower price then I would recommend this.

Its extremely light, its acurate/and its cheap.The bore size I think is fine I use wpn weapons grade and it shoots it perfect it shoots strait streams of paint so you no you can hit whoever your shooting at. If you are looking for a great barrel thats not to expensive for sure check out this barrel it awsome!!!!!

These are pretty nice barrels for the price. The one thing I dont like about ultralights/proto barrels is the fact that if the bore isnt right for the paint your using you need to get a whole nother back. If your buying one new however you should probably save the money and get a ultralight.
