Overall this is one of the better barrel kits on the market, but I do have to say that with today's micro-paint this kit doesn't go small enough for my preference. It does shoot clean pretty well and is decently quiet. I would reccomend this kit if you are in the oversize school of thought.

I shot the first generation of matchstik barrel kits for the autococker and have tried the newer versions since then and I have to say they work and look amazing. Yes you have your fanboys who love carbon fiber or the always popular UL barrels but these barrels shoot great and are quiet.

the only issue I ever had with these barrels (I've owned roughly 6 different kits) are the colors they make them in and the fact that 16" tips were specifically difficult to obtain. the barrels themselves shoot straight as an arrow and the porting is great for noise reduction as well as clean venting if you had a breach break. this is still the barrel I choose over boomsticks, ultralights, freaks, ect... the only barrel I prefer over it is the shift kit, honestly. pick up a single barrel cheap, try it out, and make your own choice. for me, this is an a+ product which helped hook me on macdev from the start.

I mentioned the weight in the cons but that is because I couldn't think of anything else. I think it is fine as is for weight, the inside finish is as good as it gets, came with 4 bore backs which go down to .685 which is nice for smaller paint and 3 tip sizes although I rarely use anything but the 14".
