After owning a PM5 for a short while and making a profit when I got rid of it, I decided to come back to the PM family by trying a PM6. The gun was used but in LNIB condition. Like all Matrix markers, it had little kick at all. It was fast, accurate, and did the job. The guns are great but suffer from low efficiency and high maintenance. If you can deal with lubing your bolt every few thousand shots and filling up after every game, its a great piece of equipment. The low kick allowed for easy strings to be shot without recoil to throw me off target. Great gun for the price.

I havehad this gun for about 6 months now, and have loved it. I like the looks and feel of the gun, also the bolt out back design (props to proto).
Its a hard gun to pass up if you have ever used one. But it has a ton of orings and can be a hassel to find a leak. One more thing it only has one mode on the stockboard.

Overall its a great gun.

I've owned my PM6 for over a year and a half now and I don't think I'll be letting it go any time soon.
It is fast, quiet, reliable, light, and sexy to boot.
With the UL Frame, Tadao, and the Lucky Un1tec barrel it is unstoppable!
I get +/-3 over the chrono.
zero kick
zero bounce

Just like the rest of the DM/PM line these guns shoot amazingly and if maintained well will never let you down.

The only down side is that should I ever want to sell it I'm probably going to take a hit on the resale value because a new model comes out every year. With this thing though, I dont see myself ever letting it go.

The Pm6 is just a great gun for either an experienced player or a new player. Matienence is easy, fast, quiet, so what else can you ask for. It is however a spool, meaning it is not efficient as other guns. Its a simple gun to keep, yet a great gun. You cannot go wrong, and with the prices of them used at the moment, its a great buy.

I recently bought this gun used to add to my collection, and let me just say, WOW. With the Empire Barrel kit, and the Tadao board, this gun is dot on dot. It's fast, light, and reliable. The O-rings need replacing once in a while, but that is not a big problem. I have the laser eyes, but the stock eyes work just fine. I also have the hybrid grips, but the stock ones are comfy too. This gun never breaks balls, and shoots dot on dot.Its one of my backup markers, but could easily be my primary marker. For the price, this gun is great.

Cons: No stock UL, devaluation.
I got this gun as soon as it was launched. I put a tag board on it and it ripped. It requieres mantainance for optimal performance, but I didn't oiled the gun in 8 months and never failed. If you baby it every week you should be perfect. The cons are it has no UL frame stock, and no UL barrel. Another problem is that it devaluated incredibly in 6 months, but it the good thing is that you can buy one now for about 300 with ul frame and ul barrel, that's great.

Overall, great gun, never fails, only in cold weather, you have to change some setups.

Proto Paintball Proto Matrix 6 (PM6) Worked great the first time I used it, then could never get it to stop leaking and getting drop off, even the tech couldn't figure it out.

ive had this gun for a while, put a UL frame on it and its amazing. shoots soo smooth, accurate, and light.

- this gun is soo easy to maintain, just lube the bolt which just pulls out the back. note---after lubing it, it may cause inconsisty in velicity, which will fix it self after a few shots.

-honestally if you get this gun, you will be so happy, deff perfer it over the pmr.

-I guess you have to shoot one to really see how they perform, you will love it
