The ultralite is a must have in my gearbag. The barrel is ball on ball in every situation and one of my favorites to shoot. Although getting new backs to change bore size is slightly expensive to do, the cost can be worth it. Plus, they come in a variety of colors.

Dye Precision Ultralite 2-Piece BarrelAlways shot these on my DM's. Feel that for the price you can get the same thing with CP or something similar. But I like the DYE tips better than the CP, so each to their own.

This barrel is extremely nice. Its durable, accurate, lightweight, etc. It comes (basically) only in black, which most people have no issues with. It's made and backed by Dye, a great company, and is shot by some of the best players to have ever played.
CONS
The price is reasonable for one barrel. However, if you plan on collecting a variety of fronts (10,12,14,16 inch lengths being the most commonly available) and a variety of backs featuring different bore sizes this barrel sky-rockets in price when compared to some of the kits out there that work just as well.
Overall, its a great product...

This Barrel is one of the best out there it is very Lite. Built of strong material and not to bad of price. The best thing about any two piece is that you can change the back bore size. The Ultralite has 3 options to choose from (for bore sizes).
The barrel comes in many colors so you can mix and match as you please.
If you want to upgrade your barrel the Dye Ultralite is the way to go.
Plus you can choose you length and buy a new tip if you want a different length that. All in all the dye ultralite is the best of the best. The cream of the crop.

It's really accurate and the bore control is nice. I bought the .688 bore (.684 wasn't in stock at the time)....

I honestly don't know what to say about this. It's either you like it or you don't. Can't go into detail too much with a barrel lol.
But I do recommend it, I just don't think it's worth 100, but it's DYE what do you expect....

The Dye Ultra-lite is by far the best barrel on the market, although it does come with a hefty price tag, as does most of Dye's products. However you are getting the best barrel in the industry. There is no doubt that Dye spent the most time and research making this the best barrel on the market. You can find them used for much cheaper than new, that is a great way to pick one up and try it out. You will not be disappointed
