i bought this barrel a while back cuz i wanted an upgrade from my stock one.
as soon as i got home with it i couldnt wait to test it out. it was shoothing smooth. this thing is super quiet. and accurate as anything out there. just need a good bore fit.
overall it think this a great barrel for anyone.

Overall a nice barrel. Shoots straight, cleans easily, but sometimes the barrel separates due to the coarse threading of the back versus the fine threading of the front. For those reasons, I ultimately prefer the older one-piece UL.

I have been shooting Dye Ultra Lite barrels for years now and I always find myself coming back to them after trying other barrels. They are nice looking, shoot great, and don't seem to have many barrel breaks. The barrel does a nice job cleaning itself out though, when you do have a barrel break. I just wish brand new tips and backs weren't so expensive.

Dye Precision Ultralite 2-Piece BarrelUL's are the bestestested ever. Srsly, I only shoot UL kits.
Overall a great barrel but could be a little cheaper. If you have the money get i would suggest getting it.

The UL has always been one of my favorite barrels, just because i love DM's and no matter what you always got one when you bought a DM. They are extremely light, especially compared to dye's earlier model, the boomstick. Easily swap bore sizes by switching out the back. Fit's most guns on the market today. They look ugly as hell on ego's but still perform great!

Got this barrel with a gun that I had bought from a buddy and its been great ever since the day I got it. Nice that it was cocker threaded so that it works on every gun that I get and also that I can always change out the tip to make the color match the gun that I have.

Make sure to get as many different backs as you can afford, check out the recent kit, so that you can better match paint size to the barrel back (better consistency and efficiency).
I currently have 0.680, 0.684, 0.688, 0.692, and 0.695.
