The ultralight is a great barrel it cost an arm and a leg but other then that its great.It never chopped a ball,very accurate and very light.The only thing is that after a short amount of time its almost like it locks together and it wolnt come apart im tried everything to get it undone ive put it in vice grips and ive had 2 monkey renches on it trying to get them apart..But other then that 1 con its a very nice barrel and i advise you to buy it...

The Dye UL barrel is the best barrel ever! I have shot all sort of others and I alwasy end up using my stock bore 688 UL! These barrels are great for a range of paint and they come in roughly 10 zillion colors here on the nation!
The Dye UL is probably the only "stock" barrel which would be an upgrade to most other guns on the market! I even use a UL on my M98c!
If your looking for a budget alternative the proto 2 piece is basically the same thing as the UL just branded proto instead of dye.

I've had many UL's but all have been cocker threaded. I've had 2 14"s and a 18". There was 14" .688 on my San Diego Legacy Marq 7 and I absolutely loved it. The barrel rarely broke balls and it was dead on accurate. The other 14" was a .684 and that was on my Ego 7. I did get barrel breaks but I was using a pretty big ball at the time but it was still pretty accurate. The 18" was on my pump and I shot that with a .692 back and it was perfect for pump. I was constantly picking people out of snake and lobbing balls across the field.
