I bought this gun thinking it would be a gun I could use as a backup to my ego. Now if I have to chose which gun is better, I would say the protege. It's just as light, more accurate, quiet when you break it in, and half the price! These shoot great! If you like the looks or think about getting a protege do it! You wont be sorry. Its amazing. I bought this gun and I love it!

I bought it hoping it would be a good buy. At first it shot horrible out of the box, but a couple of tunes here and there made it shoot great. I played with it for a good 1 1/2 months untill my first tourney with the gun. The tourney paint chopped like crazy with the stock bolt and towards the finals the gun was only shooting 10 bps because of eye malfunctions due to the chopping of paint. I just ended up swabbing it through out the game. It did kill my game but we still won first. However the next day i cleaned it at home and through this process the chopping and eyes were so bad the gun said i had 4 eyes and the bottom eye wasnt working.... when i had the stock 2. The gun did this by shining the color of the problem. I got rid of the gun shortly after because the solonoid broke, the gun blew on me after atempting to chrono my the gun.

Well, I traded my 1 of 1 UL milled shocker w/ break beam eyes and a few other ups for this little puppy.
I shot a few through it and noticed my pressure only went down 800 or so psi? That is EXCELLENT efficiency.
The gun stock, is insanely light. It weighs probably as much as an 07 ego or a tad lighter.
I cannot comment on the stock barrel because mine came with LUcky Un1tech which I absolutely love because it matched the anno perfectly.
Bob Long was precise with his milling. No marks or flaws anywhere and boy, did I check.
Bob switched to spring detents (THANK GOD) for the protege series which I think are far more reliable and better than any rubber nub detents.
Capable of the 4 eye system, one cannot go wrong w/ the eyes.
I am hoping to get one of these again in the future.

it looks good and has a very light body and definetley shoots good with a barrel that is worth the gun. but in games this gun can definetly break down on you which is something no1 wants. and the feedneck is absolutley terrible if you get this i would definetley recomend gettin a clamping feedneck but overall it's good when it wants to work
