The DM-14 represents over ten years of paintball marker evolution. Our customers and athletes demanded perfection, so that's what we strived for in all our design decisions. Revamped and rebooted, the DM-14 is smaller and more air efficient than previous incarnations of the DM, with a streamlined design, nearly half and inch shorter than the DM-13. Its also easier to clean and maintain ever than before. When you take the field you can be sure DYE has spared no expense in putting pure performance in your hands, as the DM-14 has been born again hard.

Pros: Beautiful, Fast & Accurate
Cons: Heavy, No OLED, No Barrel Kit
Pros:
-Really beautiful gun, fast and very accurate out of the box. Easy to take apart and seems very durable. Gun is elite out of the box, no upgrades necessary to play at a high level.

Cons:
- My only real qualm with the gun itself is that it is quite heavy and bulky compared to others in the price range. The absence of an OLED board is a negative from a luxury feature perspective but has no real effect on the guns performance. Being able to view board settings, shot count and other info available with other guns via an OLED would be cool, especially in this price range but is not important. The lack of these extra "gimick" features is signature Dye IMO.

IMO Dye is all about building a blue collar marker (-price); elite performance with a durable/ reliable design and no unnecessarily flashy features that will make the gun delicate. A gun built to last at the highest level of performance... A working class hero

Sweet that dye went macro-less but other then that I think its a bit over priced. Don't get me wrong this thing is a beast and is beautiful to stare at all day. Wish dye would put an oled board in but if they did that I imagine it would cost us 2000 dollars. I like the feel of the gun felt balanced and shoot ropes straight out of the box

Great gun, very impressed and have been using it since December 2013. Love the macro-less design and great anno. Efficiency has improved over all other matrix designed Dye markers. The shot is smooth and has a great feel. I love the front grip!

Overall I feel dye actually changed something significant finally after so many years of re-releasing the same design.

I feel they have opened the playing field for future improvements to this design. I see in the future LED screens and possibly lighter.

Id like to start this off with this is one of the best looking guns of 2014 and the best looking dm yet. The pros about this gun is more or less a bunch of things dye needed to include with there marker by now. The Tool less removal of the bolt is possibly one of the best tool less removals yet. The first time getting the bolt out the gun is quite hard but after the first time and relubing the bolt assembly it is quite easy to remove the bolt. Next the macro less design is about time. i do know there are people out there that don't like it for some reason but it makes everything better. there is no macro line to get in the way and for the people who are used to macro lines once you have had a gun with out them figuring out how to fix the leaks are quite simple. Another good thing about this model is the adjustable asa. Being 6'2" i have a tendency to hit my self in the face alot, with the adjustable asa i now solved that problem, this feature alone should sell this gun to tall guys lol. The last good thing is the moving of the lpr to the front of the marker. doing this they cut down on the overall hight of the marker, the dm12/13 hight didnt bother me but alot of people complained about this to me when i had my dm12. The marker is also very smooth and quite, it is just as smooth as a luxe but it has a bit more of a poppy feeling to it, it just has the dm shot to it instead.

Now enough ranting about how much i love the marker. i will say that for a $1500 marker it really should come with a oled board or lcd screen by now. they put just about everything else they needed in the marker in it but this so i really feel like dye needs to put this in there markers already. Another thing; this could be user error but i find it very hard to get the front grips off to clean in case there is pain in them or if your crazy and like to make sure your marker is very clean. My last thing is the lpr although moving it to the front dye managed to cut down the size, i kid of miss it having it the back. it was easier to adjust it when it was right in front of you, just kind of miss having it right in front of me.

All in all i really do love this marker, it is the most comfortable marker currently on the market, the adjustable asa on a macro line less gun is awesome, and i feel that dye has almost gotten there product to it needs to be. I would say its one of the best spool valves on the market and i would recommend this marker to anyone who is willing to spend the money.

Dye Precision Dye Matrix 14 (DM14) By far the nicest shooting marker on the market, a very reliable DM with the softest and smoothest shot.

Pros: accuracy, looks, feel, everything.
Cons: turning the asa knob when tank is screwed in
Ok so let me say that this is an amazing marker. From accuracy to looks to feel to just downright happiness of having this thing in your hands is amazing. I bought it used off Pbnation for 1050 and it only had 2 cases through which is brand new in my mind so it was a deal for an 1800 dollar gun. Brought it to the field twice now being that I got it 2 weeks ago and heads were turning at this beauty, with envy and fear. Only thing about this gun is the ASA knob that is such a pain to turn when the tank is in but maybe its because i haven't broken it in yet so time will tell. If you have the money to spend or don't have the money sell some stuff this gun is amazing and fun.

The DM14 was an upgrade from my Luxe 2.0. It seems to shoot better in my opinion. It has no kick whatsoever, is very quiet, and actually quite efficient. When I first bought it, it shot like older DMs, but as it broke in, it seems to shoot a lot smoother. The only drawback I have to say about it is its bulkiness. It is a little on the heavy side, and the foregrip is quite fat. Everything on it is great though.
