Pros: Looks, Soft, Colors, Cheap
Cons: Not 100% Safe
Looks - Appearance
This is one of the main reasons to get these, it is considered agg to put these on your mask, especially when they are cut on the upper portion of it. You can also get these in other colors such as Red, White, etc. These looks great on your Flex mask and are very popular.

Venting - Performance
They have some pretty large holes so your ears wont be sweaty or anything like that. Overall they breath fine and you wont really notice they are on.

Safe - Performance and Reliability
As much as I would like to say "Oh they are soft and feels good when you get shot in the ear", I cant. I have been shot up close a on the ear with these and it probably hurts more than getting shot with any other mask, and I have had short hearing loss in that ear. I guess you take some you lose some with these ears because with other masks this dosnt happen to me. So if you have some kind of deadly ear condition I wouldnt recommend getting these or the Proflex unless you have hard ears.

Durability - Reliability
They seem a little bit flimsy and if kept bend they will stay like that for a little. Besides that they are fairly tough. Make sure to get the right hardware for it, I have a plastic clip for it on one side and it will come off, easy fix but a tad annoying.

Bang4Buck - Value
This is definitally worth it and makes your mask looks great, only other option would be the hardears which dont look so good and in my opinion, dont breath as well.

Disclaimer - Please Read
I take time on my reviews to make them honest and non-bias as possible, on most occasions I will spell check them and revise to. The point is I take a lot of time on this and do appreciate good ratings, or bad ratings if you feel it deserves it. Before rating please read the full review and base your ratings on my review and not the gear and my opinions on it, if you do I have no control over that but please do it just to be nice. Thanks - OTEdge

Softears are made out of a foam material... that fits onto your mask frames. Making it easier to move about in. And Much more comfortable.

I've been through many pairs of softears. Granted they're not as strong as hardears because they're made of foam, but they are surprisingly tough. They protect you from shots directly to the ear, and can withstand a beating. They come in a variety of colors from, Red, White, Black, Blue, Green Etc. Making it easy to customize your mask.

Only downside is, you have to be somewhat careful, as they do tend to rip easily if you are too rough with them

Softears are comfy, but a ***** if you get shot in. If you are a man, they are for you. If not, go with hard ears.

Pros: Light and Comfy
Cons: Can hurt to get hit
I have given up on other masks and gone completely to flex's. All of mine have soft ears on them. I like how comfortable they are and how they look. I love them on my ref mask because I have to wear it for hours straight. The only thing that I dislike about this product is that it can hurt to catch a ball in the ear.For flex ears it is all preference, but I prefer these.

Pros:
Looks good
Comfortable

Cons:
Hurts to catch a shot in the ear
