The best just got better -- Redemption Platinum just raised the bar for tournament grade paintballs. Featuring the same ultra-crisp shell and tournament-winning encapsulation technology pioneered by the Redemption Gold line, we've packed the shell with the gnarliest, thickest fill ever conceived by man. Practically unwipeable by your opponents, this fill will not stain clothing\bunkers\buildings, but stays put longer than our competitors. Our new Redemption Platinum is for those who don't compromise on the field -- 2nd place finishers need not apply.

Pros: consistant, accurate
Cons: can be a bit brittle
My opinion of this paint was almost tainted by my first experience with it, constant breaks with a freak kit, then I realized by bore inserts were actually bent. After purchasing a new set of inserts and trying again this paint was amazing, I only had one barrel break which was caused by a broken ball in a pod (freak accident) it is brittle when it is cold out and can be a pain especially if you are running at a higher pressure possibly with a low dwell, but more or less a little tuning will get it shooting amazingly.

Pros: Always breaks
Cons: Easy to buy too much!
I grabbed a couple cases at an event, and only shot one. This paint actually breaks on targets, compared to a cheap FPO local field, this was night and day. The price was awesome, the breaks were perfect, and it always shot straight. Field owners, invest in paint, it's your bread and butter and this helped make an important decision to move to a different home field!

Pros: Excellent breaks, nice and round
Cons: Fragile, doesn't like cool weather
Despite sharing the same name a regular Redemption, Redemption Platinum is totally different paint, to the degree that I'm guessing a totally different company makes it for Valken (packaging is different.) Platinum is very crispy and breaks on target really well (as opposed to plain Redemption, which I've found to be super bouncy). It's also pretty round and dimple free, although not as round as Redemption. The flip side is that this is pretty crispy paint, so if your gun isn't working quite right you will know it from all the barrel and breach breaks. You also have to be careful under boring this stuff. Too tight and it will start popping on you at the back of your barrel.

Pros: Fragile, great splat, heavy
Cons: Large
Valken redemption platinum is my favorite paint from the valken line. I do prefer it over the pro. The gold shell and bright, thick orange fill made the ball hard to see in the air and then stand out bright when it lands on the target. I have used a few batches and they have all been quite large. 689-691 bore size. This makes for a heavy ball that flies far and has a large splat. I have had a few case that seemed to shoot squirly although there was no appear of why it would be that way. Overall I think this is some of the best paint valken makes and keeps up with the other highend brands.
